So you are not using a mount that very few take a second glance at because it does not meet some pointless personal measure ?
The mount is already common, so higher polycount or higher resolution texture or whatever few if any would look long enough at it to notice.
Not like you are going to have much use for it outside of some pve or pvp content anyway soon enough.

Pointless is a matter of perspective, and I really want to use the mount, which accounts for my interest in getting it updated, and I bet you that while flying mounts are able to be used anywhere you'll most likely still find times to show off your ground mounts

I was actually thinking the mount still looked pretty good considering how old it is.

I'd rather have them make us a warlock flying mount if they were to revisit warlock mounts, though.
