4.03a this week?

I was looking at another thread on this and someone said it could not happen this week because of pilgrams bounty. i was on beta and the pilgrams bounty stuff was there just fine. i think it has a strong possibility of being released tuesday

It is going to release Tuesday, bounty stuff isn't in the way of anything and can be moved, they wouldn't let a little holiday stop a patch

I haven't seen any confirmations about this, but I've heard rumors about it being released on the 30th, exactly one week before Cataclysm.
Either way, it's going to be this week or next week. I've currently discovered quite a few unsolved bugs on the PTR though, so I think the 30th may be a more likely release date.

The pigrim event wont really be affected by 4.0.3a so I see no reason for them to delay it.

There is going to be extended maintenance on the 23rd. That (plus PTR being on release) is about the most solid sign of a patch date as we usually get.

This argument always comes up in discussions about when a patch will be released. Bugs found on the PTR/Beta are rarely going to affect the release. It's been confirmed in the past that internally Blizz is usually ahead of the Test realm by a handful of builds. It's likely that many bugs that still exist on the PTR have been solved for Live.

I'm still not certain it'll come out on the 23rd, but I wouldn't take bugs on the PTR as evidence either way.
