Healbot or Grid?

I was wondering what I should use to start healing in Cata I have used Healbot this whole expansion but I read somewhere that Healbot is latency dependent and idea which one I should use I have no idea but always willing to try something new.

Grid is 100 times more customizable , if you want to push your skill level to the max use grid , if you want to suffer mediocrity use healbot ;D

i've tried both (and vuhdoo also), but i stick with grid+clique (or gridclicksets.. depends on what character i'm on).
alot of people dislike grid, just because it has so much options. for me, i can't figure out how to setup healbot/vuhdoo to get out the same potenial as i get with grid :/

but it's just a personal choice.

Healbot works just as well. It mostly depends on which you're more comfortable with. I use Healbot and I have no problems with healing in ICC.

Also, there's no such thing as mediocrity, only people who think themselves superior.

Droeslol Grid is only 100 times more customisabel as you HAVE to customise it to do what healbot does automatically.. everything else it can do healbot also does.. they are both pretty much the same

Tbh OP try em both out and use the one you find best but do look up some guides how to use them both (not that healbot is hard, but grid is) and make your own choice.. I prefer healbot as I found it easier to work with than grid.. but others find the oppostie so make your own mind up.

I used to use healbot when I was first leveling my pally, then I got tired of it being in the way ALL THE TIME when I was doing anything on my mage so I uninstalled it. then I heard about grid and fell in love. now I always use grid + mouseover macros on my paladin and my shaman, plus I like being able to see the whole raid on any character I'm on without having to fight with it and turn it into a more manageable size like I had to try to do with healbot, just a weird thing I have.

I've always liked grid, but use whatever raid frames help you..if you don't like grid don't force yourself to use it

The main time I really enjoy grid is when new content is out and I can set up alerts/icons for buffs/debuffs in 10 seconds and not have to wait a few days for dxe to update

Grid allows you to do a lot and see a lot without taking up much room. (4 corners of the box can be color coded icons, the box can be bolded or outlined, and of course icons for debuffs over the middle..) I love it

I like Vuhdo the most. I used to use healbot before Vuhdo came out and loved it as well. Tried grid+ clique but didn't like it nearly as much as the others.

I believe healbot works better out of the tin, grid + mouseover macros/clique will make you a better healer eventually.

I use healbot on my resto shaman, did try grid because everyone was saying it was better, i never rly got the hang of it :<

Ty I might try Grid but im so use to Healbot and heal every HM with it just wondering since i read somewhere Healbot is more latency dependent.....At some points probaly a lag spike I can see a delay of when there dead and when healbot shows it is main reason im asking.

I'd start with using some punctuation.

I used grid for BC and Wotlk, but i gotta admit that the built in raid frames are quite useful themself, so i use these now. I use grid on my mage though, just to have smaller raidframes.

I swear by Vuh'do. Clique and Grid is what I used in TBC.

Try out all possibilities (HealBot, Grid, Vuhdo). Personally, I like Grid the best. Might change with Cataclysm though.

Grid + Clique still the best setup for me.

Although I have to admit I have not yet thoroughly tested all the other variants... Never change a running system

I've tried both and just found Healbot a bit easier to use. I'm fairly new to the whole healer thing, since first starting playing in 2004, this is my first healer I've got beyond lvl 15. Quite enjoying the priest.

Personally I've used Grid with mouseover macros, worked great for me.
