Did i big upgrade today. The old motherboard died, so it was time to upgrade. Was on a tight budget, so i had to go down on the mobo, but still got a really god one, that clocked to 4,5 Ghz without any problems.

    Intel core i5 6600K
    Gigabyte Z170-Gaming K3
    CORSAIR Vengeance LPX Red 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz
    CORSAIR psu RM 750x 750w
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Would have used the H100, But i can't find the box with the right brackets.

Please, like Please, there's no such a thing like Overkill. Once you get used to all that power you can't go back normally. Same with cars. Started with a Lemon, loved it but uphill takovers with trucks were adrenaline. Few hundred BHP's later I'd call it standard.

    Love the setup.

This is my overall setup. Could always be better, but I'm quite happy with it! (Sorry for the horrid quality)

No decent pics of the full setup (monitor/keyboard/etc) yet, but here's the stuff that makes her tick

    CASE: Corsair Obsidian 350D
    MOTHERBOARD: Asus Maximus VIII Gene
    CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k
    RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 2x16GB 3000MHz
    GPU: Asus GTX1080 ROG STRIX
SYSTEM SSD: Samsung 950 PRO 512gb M.2 NVMe
STORAGE SSD1: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SATA III
STORAGE SSD2: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SATA III
    BACKUP DRIVE: WD BLACK 2TB
    PSU: Corsair AX860i
    NETWORK CARD: Asus PCE-AC68
CPU COOLER: Corisair Hydro H100i v2
    MONITOR: Asus PG279Q
KEYBOARD: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2016
    MOUSE: Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury
    SPEAKERS: Creative Inspire T10

Could do with a touch more cable management and a PSU shroud, but it's not really a priority for now

I got a hold of a neat application called Aster which splits a computer into two. It was cheaper than buying a gaming laptop for my gf since I already had a second screen
Honestly that application is worth gold. It's so simple and works perfectly. So I bought a second mouse/keyboard and now I have two quite powerful computers. I have plenty of power so it's no issue at all running two games at once, one at 4k and second at 1080p.

Here's a photo of the dual setup with keyboard for each screen:

Just ordered the last parts for my new build. Phanteks Enthoo Pro (was tired of my 800D) and 3 more Bitfenix Spectral pro LED red. So the case will have 5x 120mm and 3 140mm and maybe 1x 200mm in the front, but i don't really know if i want a red front. Time will tell

Will post pics when build is done

Well it's a power supply, haha. I always just prefer to buy quality hardware and I like Seasonic a lot. Overall though the rig is awesome and im really enjoying it. One day I'll do VR but not with its current hardware.

Yeah, for sure! I'm drooling over the Primes and just biding my time. I love my X660 Gold but I want better looking PSU cables... and Prime has exactly what I like, in an 80 Plus Platinum SeaSonic package! Can't get any better than that! /nitpick

Reflections in the pic, make it hard to see properly, but seems nice for a first build. If there is one thing I would change, is to get another 90 degree fitting on top of your reservoir to get rid of that bend from the CPU to the reservoir.

This, it would do a nice job to shorten the tubing too! ^_^
