Although it doesn't really matter....like at all....why don't shamans have a "slow-fall" type spell? I mean being the "elemental controllers" so to speak, you'd think they could muster a gust to make them float? eh?

Get engineering or a friend that's a mage/priest.
We have water walking, that's way more shaman-like.
I've always thought they should be able to "have the winds slow their fall", actually leveled a mage for that exact reason as odd as that sounds
Use to have a makeshift slow fall with sentry totem.
I'm guessing you want to ability to become The Avatar (Last Airbender) huh?
thats so amazingly useful, not like i put on my kalu'ak rod for 2 seconds, full breath and switch back to main weapons like every other class can.
water breathing, not worth a minor not worth carrying shiny fish scales, i'd rather it was removed for anything else, anything at all.
And to add on that, why don't Mages have waterwalk? At least frost Mages or something.
Shaman should get a resource and an Ascendant form a true ascendant form not taken by force.

Hell yeah we should be able to float!
With a little mini cyclone animation under our feet/hooves
Hmm...you know it would be cool if shamans had a slow fall like that. Its perfectly sensible lore wise.
Video games and the female audience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8ZVZRsy8N8
Thrall had a slow fall like spell in the battle of UC. Every shaman should have something like that imo.
shamans actually have nearly everthing ... do you never get enough? ^^
Shamans have alot of cool things
thrall has an ability during the fight for the undercity quest where all of the allys of thrall float down an elevator shaft with some sort of wind walking buff.
I have an even more legit question:
Why can a druid remove curses, while being unable to remove disease?
And why can a paladin remove diseases, while being unable to remove curses?
It's highly illogical and incoherent. A curse is a reverse blessing, it goes in the divine/demonic scheme of things. A disease is a natural affliction. One should assume that a paladin, who calls upon the spiritual/divine power through his faith in the Light, would be able to break a curse. And someone who is so deeply in touch with nature itself, like the druid, would be the guy to go to if you've been struck by disease. Yet it's the other way round.
