New level 45+ Seems to trail off in the fun factor

Dont get me wrong its still way better then the old versions but the epic quests that I experienced in earlier leveling zones seems to have tapered off some. Maybe its just eastern 45+ but idk. Anyone else feel this way?

All I can say is thank god for the dungeon finder, I never have to do Hellfire again...
If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight!
Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting then you do, pal! Because he invented it, and perfected it so no living man could best him in the ring of honor.

I too noticed a drop off ion quality in the level 45-55 zone areas. Blasted Lands(55-60) more than makes up for it however.
Have you hugged a Gnome today?

I dont know about you but I loved Blasted lands (45-48) and Searing Gorge (48-52), I loved the new searing gorge more than I loved many other zones in previous levels.

Badlands-Searing gorge-Burning steppes- Swamp of Sorrows- Blasted lands, a lot of really fun quests in these zones, and i actually really enjoyed plaguelands on the lore factor, put yourself in the position of a new player you have just been introduced to the entire theme of Northrend whilst leveling there.

For players before it was more like "O ye, By the way theres an entire new continent that we never mentioned where your kings been hanging around trying to beat you old king, lulz"

well i think the best work story-wise was done in the faction restricted zone, i think that write a story for a single faction leave more space for creativity and less for forum QQ. I've leveled an undead mage after 4.03 and I found a slowly drop in quality after Hillsbrad, this except the andorhal chain and the badland chain.

As a slight derail, was anyone else disappointed with Desolace? From a zone that is often hailed the worst place to even be in the entire game, I would've thought they'd do a lot more with it.

I did kalimdor this time, after 1k needles (a must do btw) I went briefly to tannaris and did not like it so went up to felwood, which was pretty good, and then winterspring, which I found much improved and fun. then off to outland....which I used to enjoy very much, not anymore. righ now trying to motivate myself in northrend for the final push, at least outland is very quick....

Personally one of the things that stood out most to me about the new quests were the fact that I didn't have to run all over the zone to complete 5 quests, instead I'd get 5 quests for the same little area then move on. Before that we would run everywhere and that's what made leveling so god damn annoying. Yea the whole epic feel of some of the quests tapered off past 45+ but at least I didn't pull my hair out running the whole damn zone for 3-4 quests.

This. My experience from 40 on was as follows:

Feralas: I liked the old zone anyway, so it was nice and familliar. Quest hadn't changed much, but the path was a lot better (did not do the final part of the zone though)
Thousand Needles: Awesome. Insanely awesome. I thought I would be so sad to see my favorite zone buried in water, and I was. But it was a great story.
Tanaris: Meh. Just meh. Lots of 1 quest at a time kill x beast y beast. Not even starship troopers could save it.
Un Goro: Liked it before, like it even better now. Being a Tauren "squire" was hilarious. Those damsels were HOTTT.
Silithus: Very disappointing that they didn't change it. Ended up moving on. That was one zone I was really hoping would get the revamp.
Blasted Lands: great. very great. And the tainted forest is one of the prettiest areas of the old world imo.

i agree. Im rolling an undead mage, started it with the new zone changes. I was enjoying all of the zones, then. BLAM. hit Burnning steppes (or searing gorge, the both of em i hate) Im starting to get bored now, as i was loving the storylines of silverpine etc.

    I'm glad.
I really don't think I could have stood to level 65 levels of pure, immersive awesome that took forever for cutscenes and whatever...mainly because you have to do it again. And again. And again.

Let the intro levels awe you and let the higher levels be all about business. And then Northrend can be all about trying to not slash your wrists out of boredom. THEN CATA! Yay. Then you'll have fun again. For a short time.

I will say badlands was REALLY good and I enjoyed it immensely but past that once it got into the BRD zone and such it all just felt meh. Just starting blasted lands right now. Btw I started in badlands for eastern side so I didnt get to exp the lower lvl quests there yet. Saving that for my goblin

heres how to get past outland fast and quick: believe me or not, but quests in blasted lands give more xp then hellfire quest. silithus too. so do those till 62 then goto zangramrsh or terroker forest, oh and queue for dungeons at all times.
