I have just started Hero's on my Spriest and everytime I try and MC a hummanoid I get "immune". What heroics are you all able to use MC in or what ones do I want to MC for a possible buff (ala H Bot in TBC)

Temple Adapt in Vortex Pinnacle: their heal goes for 50k. I guess most mobs will have useful skills.

My wife tried to MC someone off the LM in AB. 3 times in a row on 3 different toons they stopped falling about half way down and then they only lose about 40% of their health. She was a sad panda after that

It is fun in Bgs to make an enemy player suicidal and drive him to jump from a Bridge or a cliff...

Didn't work anywhere in Grim Batol, which I think is really stupid. Seriously? I thought we were supposed to cc, what's the point of all this immunity?
Did work in Halls of Origination, but some of the mobs seem pretty useless in there.<IMG SRC="http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww340/greboleus/deksig.jpg">

There are only two legitimate uses for Mind Control:
1. Mind controlling somebody off the cliff at LM
2. Mind controlling somebody off the world in EotS
There is no other use for Mind Control, ever.

You have got the best cc in the game imo. You get to cc a mob and also uss them, some trash will be immune but some have really useful abilities

oh man are you crazy?
mc is a fantastic way of cc i cant even tell you the amount of times we just breeze through trash because we can just mc a mob that heals for 100ks or a mob that hits other mobs for 50ks

MC in Vortex pinnacle adepts have 100k(i think 200k in heroic) healing spell and smite. You can CC them as healer.. at least i have been doing it.
If im not wrong there was nagas that can MC:d and they have polymorph and damage spell, thats kinda 2xCC at once.
In Lost city you can take one of those plaguebringers and cast horrible diseases to enemy.
in HoO, Shadowlancers have very nice AoE skill.
MC is best CC available in my opinion.
