Tauren Pally's

I have been away from the game since ICC opened up and done the first wing. I was wondering, since I havent seen any posts or threads about it. How are the Tauren Pally classes doing??..Was it worth it or just wrong? Very many of them? Do they have same actions and such as the Belf pally? If anytihng is there a preference now between choosing a belf or tauren pally?

In case of gaming... no difference exept looks and the racials.

a tauren paladin is just a paladin with 5% more base health I think and no aoe silence, so doesn't really matter which one you play. it is still a paladin I racechanged to tauren on the day it became possible though

Tauren paladins was flooding my server, but looks like most have gone back to belf, or quitted
Many of them were alts tho, but i havent seen 1 tauren female paladin, only male and my server is full/locked
Also depending what specc you want and pvp/pve, tauren have hp racial and belf got their mana restore, so best to be belf (if holy) tauren if tank.
And stunn/silence for pvp.
I still play belf and i will never change, unless they make troll/nelf paladins Then i might consider, altho i want nelf on horde!

As has been pointed out, mechanically there's nothing special about Tauren Paladins, they have all the same paladin abilities you'll find on Blood Elves, Humans, Dwarfs and so on. They get the Tauren racial abilities of course, so buffs to Herbalism, +5% base health and Warstomp

In terms of lore and so on, they're very different. They refer to themselves as Sunwalkers, and their outlook bears much closer resemblance to that of druids than that of the paladins who follow the Light. They worship the sun in the same way as druids worship the moon, and that's the source of their power. The Sunwalkers feel to me like an offshoot of tauren druids. NPCs still refer to you as "paladin", but that's to do with how NPC dialogue is set up.

I think they're very cool, personally. I deleted my Blood Elf and my Tauren Paladin is now my main. The Sunwalkers are a nice new direction for the tauren, and the group has a sort of young and new feel to them. And, the big tauren model shows off the cool paladin armour sets much better than the blood elf model does (I'm a huge fan of the tauren visuals, admittedly).

Tauren paladins have a 2 second AoE stun. Works well with hammer of justice stun. Next patch, all paladin specs will have access to Repent Rebuke, so that's another additional CC option.

Tauren paladin just isn't on my alley. I really preffer the little red-haired blood elf girl that beats the living daylights out of things! ^_^

Although my 'Arabian' human ret pala alt is also really fun to play on, as human males look so -natural- as paladins, with those animations they have! A pity human's can't have a different accent with the skin color though.

Also human and blood elf win with the racials imo. There's the hammer/sword spec, or I believe only sword spec now for a human, and torrent's a very cool thing to have as it's off the global and instant unlike the stomp.

EDIT: Human also has bonus spirit and reputation!

Same. Tauren rock, and now that you can be a cow, paladins instantly got more fun. Though I do still love draenei, too.

Many competitive players consider blood elf to be the favored class of scrub weeaboos and homos (this isn't my sentiment, just being blunt about the community's viewpoint on them) and so yeah, tons of people who wanted to be the paladin without the pink changed to Tauren.

well, this is how i feel a tauren paladin would be, im a dk, i steal Wings with dark sim
I am now a giant cow, with wings, and a huge 2hander running your general direction, how would you feel knowing im going to hit 30% harder? =D
