To answer some questions: At 70, the only 10 man instances available were Karazhan and Zul'aman. 25's couldn't be switched to 10 man.
Mind control only happens when there is more then 1 person in the raid. Pets don't count as players so they cannot be MC'ed.

Evassac: Pet's do get me mc'ed in aq40, even when im solo (might be a different spell). The LoS seems abit far off, as he's playing without timers and theres no cast time? Didnt pay that much attention, but right?
