    Blizzard, what are you doing?

Lately, I noticed that Blizzard is just ignoring their community completely. I hope they still remember that we, players, made this game so awesome, not Blizzard. I mean seriously, when was the last time you were excited about changes in the game? Personally, I don't remember when. Anyways I'll just give a list of common things that should've been done months ago and promises that Blizzard just forgot about.

    1. Trees - some Azeroth zones have nice updated treetops while majority of others are just horrible looking. I guess they ran out of time and money to finish.
    2. New Dances - Blizzcon, do you remember?
    3. Updated old playable character models - this should've been done with the release of Cataclysm expansion.
    4. Bank Space - more bank space and better way to store items. Ex. armor sets, different on use items and many more.
    5. BGs for leveling - possible, however, very boring and completely unbalanced for majority of 1-80 content.
    6. Acountbound achievements - majority of hardcore players don't want to make new character to play different role because of achievements. Why achievements are still character only is just unacceptable.
    7. Housing - promised in vanilla and canceled shortly after for reasons unknown. 6 years later, still nothing. Guess Blizzard and innovation are no longer related.
    8. Botters - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LycT1GDvYU . These botters are everywhere: bgs, arenas, world farming... Even when you find and report one, Blizzard won't even consider banning it. Why? Because of so called "investigation process" that never ends.

Anyways, small things over time add up to one huge boring experience and looks like this is where WoW is heading.

Contrary to popular belief, Blizzard does not have infinite resources. So they have to priotize where they apply resources. Unles you have some strong marketing studies or evidence indicating that the things you listed will impact their bottom line more than what they are currently working on, then you don't really have a leg to stand on.

inb4 "stop complaining they gave you new quests and a revamped world"

Although I will say there already are 30 threads about what people hate about WoW...

I once had a character named "Clamslam" but Blizzard deemed it inappropriate.
Retired from WoW: February 19, 2011. It was fun Blizz.

Perhaps they are ignoring the community because you are posting on non offical fan websites where they never ever post?
I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us.

    About your post
1: Rather have they make new content or something useful then making tree's
2: They are working on dance studio but they rather ship content then skip content and make new dances
3: This is true and they want to upgrade them but you have a point
4: They are working on a tabard system that i know of
5: That's because of hairlooms and rogues vs no resi = fun
6: They are working on it i think or at least they want to implement it
7: Housing is a retarded idea that will never work.
8: Blizzard is doing what they can against bots. But sometimes YOU have to report bots.

Bolded part 1: You must be kidding.
Bolded part 2: So you want fully balanced pvp all the way from 1-85? Good luck. That would take so much time they'd have to drop EVERYTHING else.
Bolded part 3: Still, it's their game. If they cancelled housing they probably felt like it wasn't such a good idea to implement it.

how does playing a different role on the same char effect achievements?
as far as a new toon sure i can see some achievemnts becoming account bound but only a very few

Go watch the video from yesterday, the Blizzard documentary. You do realize that the over all development staff is relatively small, still to this day, right?

I can agree with you, that yes, all those things you mentioned would be nicer if they got some attention. But have some patience. Blizzard isn't this massive 1 million employee machine people seem to think it is. The people who actually have hands on with the game are a very small workforce compared to the other divisions. The fortunate part of this is, that none of those things as is are breaking the game, minus the bothersome BOTters.
If you love / enjoy WoW in its current state, don't bother with my signature...with all due respect, its not for you. (note: I am happy and respectful though, of your enthrallment with WoW... if not a little envious!)

Well considering they just created a Q&A development thread I don't think they are totally ignoring the community.

    1. Yes trees look awful in most cases. That has always been one of my pet peeves with WoW.
    2. Do you seriously want this? I will never understand why people even begin to care about the dance studio feature.
    3. You can't say when it should have happened because you have no idea of what Blizzrd's tech can handle nor do you know what is going on behind their closed doors. Yes the models should be updated, but I can see how this is not a pressing issue as they are covered with armor 99% of the time.
    4. Some sort of storage system for tabards and old gear sets would be incredible. If they find they don't have the tech at present to do this they should really add more bank slots or like 40 slot bank only bags.
    5. Could use some adjustments, but it is a fairly new feature that you should be glad exists.
    6. Achievements, mounts, and companions should all be account bound to an extent. What that extent is I can not say. I would love for all of my alts to have access to the 115 mounts and 140 pets I have on my Shaman. Maybe someday
    7. Housing is stupid imo. Frankly I am glad they ended up scrapping any idea they had for this.
    8. They do ban bots. It takes time though and they usually do it in waves, which is stupid. They can't just shut down an account because of one report though. They have to investigate a pattern of behavior to see if it is a bot. And besides, when they kill one bot system, two more pop up. Sad fact of a game which has real world economic impact due to gold selling.

The sad thing is that I don't think this person is a 'troll' (not that the majority knows what that word means nowadays)... I think they genuinely are either stupid or misinformed.

I hope you realise that 99% of what you said makes no sense.

lol what i got from this is that you are bad and you want to go cry in a house about it

When I want to log out, where's the save button? I can't find it anywhere, been logged in for three years now.

I'm curious to see how Rift and Guild Wars 2 will deal with the problems inherent in a persistent world. Supposedly they are big on "dynamic content" that doesn't get stale as quickly. WoW required an expansion to update most of it's launch-era quests/zones, and they'll be outdated again in a few years.
