That's too bad, it's nice and cool in there though. Scrimmage Monday at 10:00am and on Wednesday too. It's pretty cool to see the kids doin' work. Klimchuk was good too and that goalie they drafted this year looked very calm.

Last few days have been awfully hot to do anything productive. At least the Jets' training facility has A/C. They had autograph signing and a meet and greet with the community. Mark Chipman, "You are not playing for our team, you are playing for the fans first." It was nice to hear, even if it was lip service.

Mike Fisher might be done. He was already talking about retiring after this season and now he has ruptured his Achilles and expected to be out 4-6 months. We figure its worse than that.
Lord and we were hurting for top 6 forwards as it was.

Unless Poile makes a trade that is pretty much what will happen simply because thats the only choice we are gonna have. TBH we have plenty of forwards, we just don't have that many I would consider possible top 6 guys. We are already hoping Lavy finds some offense out of some guys who didn't do much under Trotz.
