best mage race

what is the best race for a mage playing PvE? more specifically fire mage.

is it a worgen for the additional crit or goblin for haste. or smth else??

"Best race" is subjective because there are also aesthetic factors to consider and rules are rules. Sorry you feel that way.

There's no point in having the mathematical "best" if you think it's disgusting to look at and therefore never play.

Like above poster said, he´s not asking what he should roll, he´s asking what´s the best racial ability mathmaticly. Which isn´t subjective.

"Best" is subjective and rules are rules. Sorry you feel that way.

So, the best wrist enchant is subjective? The best meta gem is subjective? etc..

IMHO i would say Troll for Horde (poping Zerking with Trinkets and Lust has a higher net benefit than the constant 1% haste, and the Orc's spell power could be done in the same manner, so i imagine it would be close / the only other possible "best" horde mage race)

For ally i would say Draenei, the 1% hit will allow you to play around ALOT more with gear, and get more crit gear with the lower restriction

Uh, sorry that is not subjective there is math behind why the best race is the best (Troll) and the pretend mod attitude is kinda annoying :3.

There's no point in having the mathematical "best" if you think it's disgusting to look at and therefore never play.

Some people would rather min max than look pretty.

In starting gear, yes, but their bonus remains static as you increase your gear, whereas Berserking actually scales with better gear.
