Need better trolls!

I know this is just another thing to complain about but I was really disappointed with the voice of the troll in the new patch video. Flame me all you want but I feel like they need to get someone with more Jamaican to voice the trolls. I'll give you a comparison really quick.

I dunno I hate to complain about something as stupid as this but we see trolls like once and expansion I would like the voices to be done right lol. What do you think? Can you even tell a difference? Do you think it's fine the way it is? Or are you somewhat disappointed that he doesn't have a full troll vibe in his voice?

The voices are fine imo. Is there nothing people will not complain about... Sigh.

As for the troll voice in the first trailer sounds like Gambit after years of heavy drinking. I figure he's about 55.

After watching the new trailer, as good as it was setting the whole mood for the expansion, the voice acting was atrocious. It just didn't sound right at all. Rather weak and meh

I'm glad at least a couple agree. It just seemed by the end of the video the narrator completely lost his accent loosing the troll feel and I just feel like it could have been done a bit better.

Ya the voices are right on the money, actually. If you're wanting an accent more like Zul'jin's then you want a more Cuban accent, not Jamaican. Rastakhan was pretty spot when it comes to a Jamaican accent.

At least it's not as dire as that troll dude in Deepholm who sounds like a New York lawyer reading the text as-is without even trying to do an accent.

Actually I noticed it too. Maybe the Zandalari dude just has a weird dialect and Voljin gets civilized and all this shit. Different trolls, different voices..that's how it is. Not everyone has awesome voice :P

I just think they need thicker accents. I can see they sort of have them it's just its not a wild enough voice if that makes any sense

I promise you that they did NOT have to do a Lore patch trailer. For what it is, and from a historical perspective of the Troll patch trailers (lol) it was fine. I'm just glad they didnt use any of the *insanely bad* troll voices that have popped up on NPCs in Cata.

I agree with the game play part I just got a minor chill from the end of the video and if they had just spent a bit more time on the voice acting it could have just blown my mind.... BLIZZARD CATER TO ME PLEASE!

The Zandalari Troll has Gabriel Tosh's voice actor! The voices are fine. When I saw the trailer and when I heard the troll, I immediately said "Is that Tosh from SC II?" Oh and before I forget.

The voices are fine. I agree that the voice actor in the new trailer has a slightly lighter accent than the old one, but it's still troll-ish enough for me

I'd hate it if they sounded 100% Jamacian. Besides what some people think, no Trolls actualy sound properly Jamacian. They're not supposed to be exact, they're supposed to be similar, with their own twist on the accent.

When somebody used that quote from WC3 they were more on the ball that he (probably) thought - it's not a Jamacian accent, it's a TROLL accent.
