Heh yeah, the exact terms would be Celestia is a mare (Full grown horse) the mane 6 are fillies (Although Luna is 1000+ years old so she might be like an 'adolescent' filly)

I don't think the mane six are getting any bigger and would be considered mares age wise, while the cutie mark crusaders would be fillies. Pretty much every pony in Ponyville is the same size as them, look at the mayor she's not an adolescent and is the same size. Pony's are breeds of horse that stay small fully grown. I don't recall seeing any other full sized horses besides Celestia in the show.

But Celestia sent Nightmare Moon to the moon, not Luna. I think it was said somewhere before that Luna and Night Mare Moon aren't the same person(pony). ( or I'm completely wrong, either one)

I've payed attention to the thread for a long time now (Around page 120 or so). You guys move fast!

Oh yeah and I do draw too.
Shameless plug but I figure it's worth getting out of the way now.

And I do hope the creator of my signature image does not mind me using it. I added a pony to it as well.

Also: my avatar may be Pinkie in a N7 helmet, but my favorite goes to Rarity and/or Fluttershy. I can never decide between the two!

Hmm, I always thought of the mane 6 as teens really, with the cutie mark crusaders being kids (Little fillies which would coincide with Pinkie's song 'when I was a little filly and the sun was going down' and equestria girls 'Cause they know we're awesome fillies' but that could have been more to do with keeping the song flowing and as close to the original syllable wise) but then again barring the super magical Celestia and Luna/Nightmare Moon we've not seen any full sized ponies/horses so what you're saying does sound more feasable.

That was probably me saying how I feel about Luna (That Nightmare Moon 'took over' instead of Luna being actually evil) but it's not canon or based on any real facts (well some vague ones) and more my desire to think of Luna as innocent.

Luna was Transformed into Nightmare Moon by an outside source. Because she was Banished as Nightmare i assume Nightmare would have grown, Luna would have stayed the same basically unaging untill transformed back.

And I always figured she was banished Inside the moon, not on the moon. Is that weird?

I'm with you on that, I never thought of Nightmare moon as actually walking around on the moon, though that is a funnier way to think about it for comics and the like.
