    there are 3 reasons why this tournament is ridiculously stupid:

    1) Outdated Rules: The international rules are terrible and do not keep up with changes in the NHL.

    2) Referrees: The way refs make calls are stupid. You poke a goaltender with your stick at the puck and you get a penalty?!

    3) Event Takes Place During Playoffs: Great, so this is a total disadvantage for any team from North America where most of its best players are tied up. This should be done during the regular season to allow better players to compete.

    Congratulations to Finland though they did play very well but I really hate international hockey rules.

    Lol, butthurt much? At least I would, 6-1 must be pretty tough to swallow...
    And it's not like Finland doesn't have players in NHL, just saying...that Finland beat you now, and looks like they will keep doing it in the future too!

    well congrats first of all to Finland for thier 2nd WC gold medal in thier national sport ^^

    but as a proud SWE i am, im waiting to kick your ass back where it belongs in the Olympics when our best players are not playing stanley cup. and when we dont have atleast 10 first timers in the team!

    Congratulations Finland is all I could say to be honest. As for people arguing that some of the major teams got beat or making excuses that their best players are still playing in Play Offs is just lame excuses. The best teams cannot always win everything, you win some, you lose some, that is just the way it works in sports
