Ok, too everyone who is farming [Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros], I have some irritating news for you. And I apologize..
But today, on my warrior alt's 7th kill of Ragnaros, I got my 2nd Eye of Sulfuras
Where this seems like a gloating post, it's not meant to be. It leads to my question to you guys, How long have you been farming for this item?
Would love to hear your lucky/unlucky stories with other rare items too

I got my first eye of rag and left binding on the same run about a month ago, forged sulfuras, and a couple weeks later got my 2nd eye as well. Still no right binding though

Got Both bindings on this Paladins first run for them.

Saw the Eye two weeks later, it was Ninjad. Haven't seen it again since.

Saw the eye only once before, got it on my Original paladin in Vanilla quite a time into it.

I am really jealous though. I would kill for hand of Rag again.

Been farming both eye and bindings for about a year, now.
Seen garrs binding 6 times, geddons binding once during the second run on my hunter >_> (paladin is my main)
And have never seen the eye drop.

Well, on my paladin alt, it took me a whooping 5 runs to get both halfs of thundefury and the eye. I couldn't believe my eyes when it happened.. Also I finished Sulfuras the day after I finished Thunderbringer. In case that's too hard to believe, check FoTs for Philisftw on Dragonmaw EU.

*Edit* found out it can't be loaded on armory cause it's been inactive for so long (yeah, it's an alt so I haven't played it since the end of WotLK), will log onto it later to update that.

I've only gotten one Baron Geddon's bindings, but Garr hates me. 32 runs (1 on each of my two mains every week) and no eyes yet.

The Ultramarine Qiraji Battletank, though, I got it on my 9th solve back in December, right after the release of Cataclysm. Didn't see another one for at least a few months... and they're still pretty rare to see. I guess I'm lucky there.

Still wish I had Sulfuras or TF though :<

32 kills on my Paladin - I killed him a few times on my Rogue previously(at least 5 times in Vanilla), but never saw the drop before.

In the time it took me to get the Eye, I had seen 2 of each of the Bindings

It's not that difficult to farm. Just re enter MC every 30min.

Took me three runs for TF, never really cared about Sulfuras but I think in over 100 MC runs now, I haven't seen the eye drop once.

got my eye on i think my 2nd kill, also have the binding off garr which i got on my first ever run like 4 months ago, geddons binding eludes me....

just need 2 more blood of the mountain and ill have my sulfuras too =D, also food for thought got a thoridal like 2 months ago on my 3rd ever kj kill lol, still no glaives or shadowmourne (50 shards to go)

Ran MC solo on my DK for fun 2 weeks back. Wasn't farming for the Eye, but it dropped. Farmed the mats for the legendary by using twink farm runs on MC. Build the legendary mace 3 days later.

OP asked for other 'lucky' drops:
Never did the druid epic flight quest on a druid toon.
On a spare afternoon / night (as a lvl 80) I figured, what the hell. Ran through the quest line, finding out that I didn't have the key for the heroic instance. Farmed that together that evening. (Didn't start at 0 rep there).
Guess you can figure where this is going.
Late in the night Anzu dropped on the very first run with my druid..

This is easy, the giants (destroyers) respawn, even if you cleared the instance. You can solo these again and again. If you use twinks in another ID, you can farm this fast.
