Darksiders

Who here is a fan of Darksiders? Im just wanting to see if the fans of wow or atleast this site has an intrest in Darksiders or atleast heard of it XD. Also why you like it so much, and what u think about the upcoming Darksiders 2.

-I love darksiders because of its awesome graphics, entertaining stories, Intricate characters, and voice overs, as well as ive always been a fan of zelda and the puzzles, these puzzles present a greater challenge and is way more interesting than zelda due to what i have stated...
-Darksiders 2, however looks like it will be interesting however i do not like the fact that death will be the playable char and not plague, as well as the way death looks, i atleast hope they will update his look for the release as war looked 10 times better. The order the horsemen ride out is also supposed to be War -> Plague -> Famine -> Death.
and im also placing a bet that famine will be a girl char

Played the first 1 which was ok, it was too easy even on the highest difficulty level and the story sucked. Hopefully the second one is better.

lol thats what i was going by it to, but the author twisted the story up quite a bit, so im not surprised

Played 1. Enjoyed it but found it to be incredibly generic in the sense that it copied so many elements from other better games. The first game felt like some offspring of God of War and Zelda although it didn't do combat nearly as well as GoW or puzzles nearly as well as Zelda. I will certainly play the second one. The story was passable so I am looking forward to how they will expand on that.

Wrong forum, but yes I loved it, even though I picked it up on a whim when I saw the Hellbook edition in my local GameStop.

Played through it three times, and probably will play through it a fourth before DS2 comes out 2012.

I loved it.
Yes it does feel like Zelda and Og of War had a baby but i think that's awesome.
Graphics are okay, but since the artstyle is nice imo, I don't care.
Only thing that ticks me off is you cannot use a gamepad unless it's the 360 Pad. Having any other Pad plugged in fucks up the controls really bad.

OT : I really liked Darksiders, picked it up thinking "Hmm, might be an interesting game" and was completely blown away by it. Granted it's not the best game ever but for someone expecting nothing it was a nice surprise

I really loved darksiders. Legend of Zelda style puzzles with badass action and a dark religious plot, pretty much fits my criteria of a good game. Only real problem with it was that it was too short, and it didn't feel as involved. Not enough side plots et cetera. Of course, now they're onto a sequel, I'm expecting them to expand it a lot more.

Overall I'm damn excited, but not as excited as I am for other games (Skyrim, mainly.)

The Christian Bible has War->Conquest->Famine->Death

The Church of Later Day Saints Bible (Mormon) has War->Pestilence->Famine->Death.

Modern day media seems to prefer using the Church of Later Day Saints version since War and Conquest are generally viewed as being too similar.
