    Random Computer Freezes

I've just bought a new hdd, installed it, made some partitions, etc. After 2-3h of using the computer, my windows started to random freeze. It got to the point where i couldnt do anything and i had to reset it. Well after reset, it gets stuck while detecting the hdd. After swithing the slots around, i got the same problem. Also i changed my old hdd that worked perfectly, and i have the similar problem. My question is what could be wrong here? is it a hdd problem? a mobo ? could really use some help.

    Cheers.

    Read this then repost.

To start you want to make sure the hard drive is being seen by the motherboard through the BIOS.

well the problem is that I dont know whats the problem exactly, since my mobo is still in warranty i could easily change it, but im not sure that is the main problem here.
