I was kind of excited because I thought it was mainly going to be Emerson and transcendentalism but no...it's mostly Thoreau with one question about Emerson and one question about transcendentalism.

Ah, that sucks. He makes for an interesting read sometimes, but nothing to go so far in depth. Emerson on the other hand... He is quite the opposite. Especially The Transcendentalist.

Ive talked to her occasionally, more or less quit MMO-C. I wouldn't call it suicide though, more of just stopped logging on.
It happened after the mod thing, but that wasnt what caused it. Not worth going into either way

We didn't read that, just "Nature" and "Self-reliance". I would have loved to go more in-depth on Emerson or transcendentalism in general but no...we just talked about Thoreau.
