"Fix my DPS" - Log analyzes and general help *READ OP FIRST*

Hello,

I have a friend on my guild who is playing Fury Titan's Grip Warrior and he's eager to learn how to do good DPS, however, he had read guides, got some gear, is even using an addon for rotation priority. The problem is that he gets around 22-27k on LFR HFC and asked me how he's doing, I've simmed his character and got in return 37k DPS for his character. So I would like some help to figure what's wrong about his rotation and how he can be better:

That's a lot of Multi-strike in his gear when his main stat should be crit/mastery.

Legendary ring isnt enchanted with Crit.
Mainhand weapon isn't Thunderlord Enchant.
He should be using Avatar instead of Bloodbath

Edit:

I'm not sure if this is right, but his Enrage uptime is 30%

Use Warcraft logs instead of WoL.

Hello fellow warriors

I have recently started to play Fury in raids and although i feel i understand the spec and play-style well, i feel im lacking immensely on the DPS meters! Unbuffed on the target dummy im hitting around 39-45k solo target and ilvl 710 and i cant seem to work out where i have gone wrong. In raids it is a similar story for the most part, i guess i am incredibly inexperienced for fury in terms of raiding though.

Please feel free to check out my gear/setup on the armory and let me know if there is anything im doing wrong on that side of things, but i also have a few questions relating to raids and CD setup etc.

Is there a huge difference in Ravager vs. Anger Management in terms of 4pc DPS? I dont seem to notice it, but i do seem to notice my CDs are all over the place with AM.

Also i dont feel i am capitalising on Meat Cleaver stacks from whirlwind, do you guys use it much? I just feel im better spending the rage in Wild Strikes.

How are you guys lining up your CDs for fights? I cant seem to find anywhere like summonstone that has a good description for this in HFC and like i say above i feel my CD's are all over the place with AM.

Also it looks like your beserker rage is not being used to fill the gaps in your enrage.

I dont know the math but does your haste hit 11% raid buffed?

I think my Enrage uptimes were slightly better towards the end of the raid as i had a bit more of a feel of things, i am running just over 40% crit raidbuffed so i find i probably am not popping it as often as some other fury warriors

Sorry about the logs my guild sets them to private for some reason, thats why i have linked the screenshots :/

I have about 11% raidbuffed but i am also using Worldbreakers Resolve now which is making it much higher than that most of the time.

And thanks for the weakauras link, ive been trying to find something just like that :P i dont really fully understand it at the moment, the WA2 config seems a bit over my head at the moment in all honesty lmao

I only checked armory cos reading forums on tiny screen of my phone. His gear looks really great and fine, but he is wearing 2p T18 and 3p T17. He should be using 4p T17 whenever burst dps or cleaving is needed much, and 4p T18 on rest of the bosses. If he has mythic T17, he does not want to swap those to normal T18. If heroic T17, he still wants to use them on most bosses instead of normal T18.

There is some boss specific advices on these forums for Tier bonuses and talent. Can't remember where they was for sure. Try the fury guide pages +195 or thread HFC warrior DPS boss by boss guide

I'm usually playing a prot warrior but sometimes have to switch to dd for setup reasons.

Unfortunately, my dps output is not really good. Therefore, i am looking for any hints e.g., why my DPS is so low in iron reaver and what i can improve.

Alrighty, trying to throw my link up here.

Currently I am falling under the heat of Mannoroth, not puling what apparently my equipment should be pulling - Been told 35-40k dps, currently stuck at 30-35k. For that I know I am not remembering the pot enough due to an error in the macro I have done. Overall performance seems to go steady for me on other bosses.

My current setup: Ask Mr. Robot | WoW Armory

Note: Enchant on neck has been upgrade. And I have been told that I should try Bladestorm on the fight - or go Arms.
Note 2: Weapon enchants have become questionable for me, Thunderlord or Bleeding Hollow, not used to Askmrrobot.com but it confused me now.

As well, is arms as cursed as it was?

I started raiding this expansion and looking to improve as I go.
In the latest raid I've found myself struggling to deal consistent dps across fights especially those that mainly focus on single target damage. I think I struggle to use bloodbath well and find it easier to use Avatar as t90. Thing is, bloodbath seems to be a consensus as being stronger so I want to find ways to use it better.
Also wanting to re-learn arms as I hope for my tier gear. Is it worth getting better beforehand or does the 2 piece change the playstyle enough that just knowing the basics is better for now?

I listed the whole calender so that you can look at several fights etc.

I am trying so hard improve my character and I understand the rotation and I do Ok but I seem to be about 10-12k behind similarly gear Fury Warriors. I am basically running fury until I get 4 piece then I will worry about Arms. I know I have some trouble from time to time with timing of CD's but at this point I am at a loss of where I am missing the DPS that I should be making.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I've been back in the swing of things for a few weeks now and am running with the guild alt group before I'm ready to rejoin the main raid group. Hi All,

Having a few issues with my dps numbers on single target fights, fel lord being an example, where i just dont seem to be where i should be with my Ilvl and cant ascertain what it is im doing wrong. With arms i am flying up in 70%+ for my ilvl bracket on fights but where fury is taken (most bosses at the moment).

Guild is happy with me but we are only a social type guild and progressing on normal currently.

Example of the above is in the links below, did first two bosses as fury then tyrant as arms (for obvious reasons....two targets!), and perform miles better as arms, this was also the case before i got 2 set also (got that today). The only thing i can think of is bad rage management or enrage management?

Switched away from my feral which I consistently did 90%+ ranks with to a dps Warrior for my raid team. We're 6/13 M right now and I'm still gearing up, but I don't feel I'm doing the dps I should. I've sim'd it and it says around 51k ST for either fury or arms, about a 500 dps difference for the specs. I read in the arms thread some people were having arms as equal or better than fury for ST even after the nerf. I have no t17. I was previously crit enchanted. Switched last night to try out arms for majority of fights.

It's discouraging and disheartening because I can't figure out exactly I'm doing wrong for that big of a gap between Sims and raids. Unsure if it's a gear issue(ilvl,weap,trinkets) or if I'm really doing something wrong. I know with fury I need to keep enrage up, sometimes I get unlucky and don't get blood thirst crits. Unsure about arms though.
