    The most Anti-Hunter Fight?

    We all know one. A fight where you are just in a bad position in one way or another. What do you think is the worse?

    For example(s):
    -A fight where all the range DPS have to stand so close to the boss that its in the Hunters Deadzone or they die and you are forced to melee and spam traps on the ground in bitter hope of keeping up.
    -A fight where your pet just gets eaten because it exists and you are forced to concider resing half the fight, or just keep shooting.
    -So on, so on.

    Marrowgar, anybody? That wasn't really tough though, if I had to name one, it would be Magmaw, simply for the god awful size of his hitbox, and the fact he takes up half the room for targeting.

    A fight where if you lag and miss your class call YOUR WEAPON BREAKS (twice).

    Thankfully there was Ashkandi and Raptor Strike.

    *Altairus, because of its larger than normal hitbox and annoying mechanics (for ranged classes)
    *Any boss fight that requires you to be in melee range of the boss and you cannot dps for that duration of the period (e.g. Asaad during Supremacy of the Storm)
    *Ozruk, because of the lack of counters for the paralyze debuff

    From what I read... Aeoxxna? I don't know if it was fixed or not though... ( The rare in deepholm ) Hunters could only melee... lol

    Omnotron HC is very annoying from a hunter perspective, or at least my personal perspective. Electron's ability gets changed in a way that we have to squeeze up into melee range almost or risk death when it turns into a shadow conductor, and with the shields so dangerous, multishot can be a serious pain to use on the adds if they're near any secondary golem with a shield up.

    I think blizzard did a pretty good job overall. But of course the third boss in stonecore ranks as the most irritating as unless you're dispelled, you have to run in to melee it in order to get a debuff... Thats a horrible oversight all things considered.

    There isn't any really. Blizzard, as of Cata, has done a great job of enlarging the Boss' hitbox so in the event you have to stack up, it doesn't cripple Hunters. Look at Argaloth. You stack on him and Hunters aren't affected. Also, pets rarely get eaten nowadays because of 90% AoE avoidance, and Mend Pet alone will keep your pet up.

    Haven't done any raids on my hunter as of yet but a few 5man bosses that I find a bit annoying as a hunter would be Altairus(2nd boss in Vortex Pinnacle) if the 'Upwind' buff is constantly swapping sides and the 4th boss in SFK(the one with the cauldrons) my pet always seems to die during the Poison phase even if I pull him back to clear his debuff.

    Masters call, plus running around like an idiot during that phase can generally save your pet.

    Altairus is probably the standout one with constant moving and the distance needed to travel / distance to stay in shooty range.

    I have to tip my hat though, all the 5 mans are fantastic, lots of fun and clever bosses, not too many vanilla tank n spank.....the raid instances im really enjoying (8/12 so far), some real close fights, plenty for hunters to do and as said before we dont lose our pets every 5 seconds.....

    Ozruk u can equip dual blades, using fox get close to him when he does ground slam hit him a couple times for the debuff then disengage out, asaad hates everyone equally sincemelee cant hit it at all while running to the zone, altairus is pretty gay but u can use disengage when the winds change to have it not suck so much

    Alot of melee in my guild sook about how they have to watch their positioning so much in this expansion, when they get into it I tell them to go back to wrath and do the fights as a hunter and take note of how often hunters have to do something different to everyone else just so they can DPS, or listen to how many times the raid leader says "Everyone over there... except hunters"

    Bosses on hunters are interesting because our strats are 'generally' unique to the class.

    There was also a simular quest in Storm Peaks... Ridiculously stupid from any hunter's point

    Yet you have to to the same thing on the last boss in Grim Batol, and there you can still shoot him while standing under his crotch. I wonder why the designers don't make all bosses like that.

    Lich King was also quite annoying because you had to stack on him a lot.

    I didn't have ability to fight with Naf, but other fights are easy for hunters and you can give great numbers of dps ... All you have to do is choose you position in a right way.

    I didn't notice it. Even when you are in their hitbox you can shoot shoot shoot !! Ths Blizz! Example: T&V, Cho, Omni - little bit dist. Just move ass of your hunter quickly and favorably.

    Blizzard definitely fixed most of the hitbox issues, it's kinda amusing standing in front of the melee dps and still using my bow. But the best part is, while doing that, if I'm ever about to take a big hit, I don't have to move to pop raptor strike for the damage reduction from the glyph.

    Magmaw in the dps phase. When his head is smashed to the ground I have to move backwards before hitting him again.. and my pet run back to me aswell -.-

    But Blizzard did fix alot of this in cata. We are able to dps the nefarian adds in p2, we can actually get closer to al'akir than our pet can (xD) etc etc.

    Cata doesn't have any antihunter fight really nothin come even close to TBC and pets without avoidance
