To my knowledge the system requirements for it haven't been released yet so none of us can say for sure, but my guess is probably.

Considering we don't know the required specs for skyrim yet we don't know how well 'x' will run it. It is however a port from consoles, so you could assume since your system will be stronger than consoles you should be able to run it well, if not at ultra then close to it.

Eh I'll just say that Bethesda have always come through with Elder Scrolls, and I fully expect to see higher resolutions and much higher level of graphical performance in the PC version. They know how important Elder Scrolls is on the PC platform, mostly due to the modding scene keeping it alive way past the time the console version dies.

It might run it on ultra, but seeing as you've got a 560 and not a 560 ti I'd have to know resolution, at 1080p for example, I doubt all settings at ultra.

Hence the use of 'assume' and 'should'.

Switch the RAM to two sticks for dual channel (2 x 2 GB) and either spend a little more for the 560ti or switch to an HD 6870.

4G of ram is the minimal I would put in any gaming box. And using 1 stick of anything in a Dual channel motherboard is just wrong.

Double it to 8g at least if not 16G.

    Ram is cheap right now. 8G (2 x 4G sticks) is like $75 for decent ram. ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233147 )

4gb is fine, 8gb is optimal for all round use and 16gb is pointless, totally pointless, in a gaming rig.

getting an unlocked processor, you might want an aftermarket cooler to push the overclock bhigher than the stock cooler will allow

It is a gtx560 ti, there's no gtx560 Hawk available as far as I know and see on MSI's site and checking the clocks supports this.

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition, VL80001W2Z, Middle Tower, - 2 coolers inside

That is a case that comes with 1 120mm fan on the back. It has the option to add another 120mm fan on the top, one on the front, and technically you could add one on the side.

That is not an aftermarket CPU cooler by any stretch. An aftermarket CPU cooler is like the Coolermaster Hyper 212.

That is just the cooling your case offers.

It's not an after market cooler for your processor, which is recommended if you plan to overclock the processor.

On topic, I really wasn't impressed with the walkthrough of skyrim that I watched. I would say to get a little better video card, as suggested either get the ti, or the 6970.

Otherwise its a solid build. Make sure to pair it with either a surround sound system or surround sound headphones for ideal skyrim experience. Their audio for weather effects is just top notch.

Oh, and look up eyefinity. Its the primary reason I decided to go with the 6970, very simple to setup, and such an awesome gaming experience.

nope cause when oblivion came out no pc was able to do it there^^

I'm assuming you left out the "ti" part of the video card since there isn't a regular 560 in a HAWK version or a 560 with those clock speeds, AFAIK, so everything aside from the ram looks fine. Just get either 2x2 or 2x4 sticks, whatever your budget allows since you need to run in dual channel (as was previously mentioned), and you'll need a aftermarket CPU cooler if you want to do anything beyond a mild OC.

..... Sli has been around for quite a long time bro.
7900GTX ran oblivion at max settings at 1600x1200. It ran at 40FPS. Thats playable, and its running at a resolution which at the time was not your common resolution.

I'd upgrade the RAM. 4gb is pretty much not enough nowadays - atleast not for me. Other than that your specs should run every upcoming game without any problems.

    Edit:

Don't listen to people suggesting you 16GB of RAM. 8GB is more than enough, 4GB is the minimum. Unless you run virtual machines on your PC, you will never require 16gb of RAM.
