    Nvidia 280.26 update issues

    Hello !

I started having issues with WoW lately after updating my Nvidia diver to V. 280.26
Other people did Report that they have issues started with this update version also.

    Issues like :
Fps spikes , Driver crashes and restores , Weird glitches happens randomly , Screen flickering , in the end may leads to BSOD * happened twice*

So, I Uninstalled the driver Preforming a clean uninstall with "Driver sweeper" and "CCleaner"
with the Beta Version update 285.38, and guess what.. same issues

Kept on googling and found that Nvidia said that they are aware of this issue, and that we should Switch to more stable
    version "275.xx" until further updates

I did that, it Helped a bit, but still there is Screen flickering and weird graphical glitches happens in WoW after that,
And the driver crash but way less than before, two crashes till now far away from each other

    So…
Q1: any idea what's going on? Anyone had this issues and found a Fix ?
*Few did manage to install the update with no issues*

Q2: why dose this issues happens more Frequent with WoW but not with other games?

To sums it Up : It's like this, everything was fine till I updated, then the graphics card got messed up from that update, even if installed an older driver version

*Sorry for the wall of Text >.<
*Posted this on WoW forums also, curious if a they may have a fix or not

Just get the latest beta drivers. I had to get them to fix the errors in F1 2011 and it also fixed the problems with WoW.

I don't know why it happened to you, it's working perfectly on mine, try downgrade your driver, and stay there if it's work.

had a friend with the same problem he rolled it back with a security backup of the comp... dunno if you make one just once in a while well it saves you alot of time sometimes

and are you sure that you rerolled the drivers completely he was talking about it still bieng there even though he thought he had removed it and rolled back to the 275.

other then that ... dunno i use both Nvidia and ATI xD they both seem to have problems pop up every once in a while so ... theres not really a way to say one is better hten the other

did, still got the issues, 280.26 messed up my card XD

and don't think so, like i said it was working with no crashes/erros before, just when i updated it all started, other people did say that they experienced issues
    after the install

this sometimes happens after FPS spike:

Fun to play like this eh XD ?, not to mention the Flicking and crashes
