Help on deciding which video card to upgrade to

I am upgrading my PC. I am going to have a 750w PSU, 8GB of RAM, and an i7-3770k, but am unsure on which Graphics card to get. I'm in the price range of both the Radeon HD 7850 and the GTX 650 Ti BOOST.

The 7850 comes with Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, BioShock Infinite, and Tomb Raider for free and thats whats making my lean towards the 7850.

I'm looking for some help from someone more experienced with video cards to tell which would get me better performance

I would up my budget a tiny bit and get a 7870XT. Also, just as a side note, the GPU should be your biggest single expense when upgrading/building a system. It's like a rule of thumbs, getting an i7 and not being able to get a 7970/670 is kind of a waste imo.

I picked the i7 because I do quite a lot of video editing/encoding and it is very good for that. I probably will do more of that then gaming, but I would also like to play games at pretty good settings when I can... with my current HD 5550, I cannot do much lol

The 7870XT is the best value for money card on the market. It's basically a downgraded 7950 that will overclock like a champ far ahead of the 78XX/660 bracket. It costs about the same as a 7870.

I've managed to fit a 7950 into my budget. I'm wondering now though, with an i7 3770k, 7950, an SSD, BD Drive, and 4-5 HDDs, plus the case fans.

Would a 650w PSU be enough or should I try for a 750w?

Again, the 7870XT is a 7950 that's been nerfed a little. A nerf you can remove by doing a bit of overclocking, and it's very willing to do so. a PSU for that system would ideally be a 550W but it's not wasted to go for a quality 650W either. Seasonic, Corsair AX/HX series are very good 80+ gold PSU's in that size. For a 550W the XFX550W is probably the most bang for bucks.

    Where can I find a 7870XT at?

It is out of stock on both Newegg and Amazon and I plan on purchasing the parts for this build sometime this week. Is there anywhere else that I can purchase it at online?

I found this one on newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131484

It's name named 7870 XT, but I believe it is the same thing.

I am a little worried about overclocking it with it having only one fan, so I was wondering if somebody could recommend a good cooler for me to buy for it?
