    Need help to stream games

So my GM in WoW just asked if anyone could stream/film our kill videos and or farm bosses and I decided to take the job as I imo have a pretty decent computer. However when I stream WoW on complete maxed graphics I get 60-80 fps but when I open xsplit and try to stream in 1280 HD I drop down to 20-30(yes I know you drop stupidly...)however I dont know if my computer just isnt up for the task seeing as if I'm going to stream at all I rather do it in top quality. My friend also said the screen was tearing in fullscreen when he tried watch the stream.

    So here's my computer specs:

    Processor: AMD FX 8350 8 core 4GHz
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6870
    RAM: Crucial 1600MHz 2x2 GB
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB(no SSD disks here)
Resolution: 1600x900 21inch on main screen and 1024x768 51inch plugged in for movies.

My internet is just 6Mbit/s but as I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with frames I see this irrelevant.

So as you may or may not see in this post I'm kind of clueless on what affects your FPS so I need help and if anything in this post doesnt make sense dont hesitate to ask.

    Thanks in advance.

Why are you streaming at such a high quality? To stream at anything higher than 1080p you pretty much are required to have a capture card or a second PC dedicated to rendering/encoding.

Try dropping the stream quality to 720p.

I'm sorry if I was uninformative with that. I meant 1280x720 so yes it's streaming in 720p.

Ah I misunderstood, I thought you were streaming at 1280p (which is a very uncommon streaming resolution, but some do stream at it).

I don't have a whole lot of experience with streaming, there are other users who know much more than I do, so hopefully one of them will come along and help out.

The 8350 is actually a pretty decent CPU for streaming, do you have it overclocked at all? Overclocking it can squeeze a good bit of performance out of it.

Did you try lowering the game settings while streaming?

This would help yes but like I said I want good quality. Seeing some streams being filmed with a potato and it's just a horrible experience. And noteworthy no I havent overclocked it as I both dont know how to and that I might be naive in thinking my computer will overheat and crash.
