    WoD Classes and PvP

    I am planning to resub this Christmas and I was wondering if there is a resource out there where I could see which classes are the most powerful in PvP right now. Thank you!

    There are not going to be any good resources because there obviously hasn't been enough players yet at 100.
    However, you can be assured that many of the strong classes in the past are still just as strong.
    As with most seasons, melee tend to dominate the game in the early stages. In arenas, all healers are currently very close to each other, with disc priests coming up slightly above the rest.
    DK's/Ferals are very strong. Ferals currently have ridiculous off heals. Rogues and warriors are dominating as well, as usual. Monks seem to have gotten weaker, but they are not terrible.
    The ranged classes are slacking a bit. I find mages and warlocks to be kinda boring to play, but they are still strong. Hunters are just as they were in MoP.
    Of course, as you can expect, shamans are poo right now. Enh shammys are crap, and elemental shamans are still as bad as before, struggling to fight against melee's, and lacking the burst they once had.

    *edit* oh yeah, and ret pallies are strong too. But when have they not been?

    Dks and ferals are really strong. Rets come in after them. Everything else is average-poo.

    Hunters are really great at 1v1 and wpvp at 100 just as in MoP and the only ranged class that can counter those OP melee fucks, except ferals who are just OP as fuck but luckily not many people play ferals and also not that many are good with the spec considering the shit ton of keys they have and how they look like crap.

    What does "in PvP" mean?

    In BGs? Everything is kind of equal, you can play whatever, ranged is better in most situations but whatever works.

    In RBGs? Range are strong as always, DKs are always necessary for Death Grip, Rogues are really strong with Smoke Bomb and their CC, other melee are kind of meh.

    In Ashran? I have no idea, melee seems abysmal, there's like 80 people in there and melee need to run into the entire enemy team, can't imagine that's any fun at all.

    Arenas? Rogues are god tier right now, behind them are DKs, Hunters, Rets and Ferals, then probably Mages, SPriests, then WW Monks and Boomkins, then Warlocks then not having a third player and then Shamans.

    For healing it's basically Disc/RDruid > RSham/HPal > MW Monk.

    All that can be changed with some balance tweaks though. But it seems Enh/Ele are both really terrible specs.

    Rogues, CC-wise, are the best class in the game. With how fast most CC breaks now, stun is the only completely reliable CC left. Coupled with garrote and a new 8-second shadow dance, in arena at least rogues are going to do extremely well this season.

    However, if you just want to spam damage, DKs and Ferals do quite a bit in addition to ridiculous self healing. Ret is close behind. All casters are somewhat weak, but Spriest & Moonkin are doing a little bit better than Mages and Locks. Every class is somewhat manageable except elemental shaman though.
