If it's so artifical there's always lower difficulties, the only really bad thing is only being able to have one sign out.
Actually, that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm progressing just fine in the game. If it was too hard I would be stuck somewhere. Stop using that bullshit argument because I dared to criticize your sacred cow. I didn't even say the character needs to 'move faster' All I said was that it needs to be more responsive and not go in random directions because it was made with controller in mind and not a keyboard and mouse. I also said it should have to ability to toggle lock-on targets like pretty much every action RPG has nowadays.
That's a bit of a exaggeration. I had no issues dying on the second hardest.
I love the combat and ignoring the times my attack button stopped working and when I rolled into a permanent fall, it was always my fault I died. I still love the feelings of getting through a fight untouched. Parrying through packs with quen to come out the other side with an igni and jumping in with attacks feels awesome. The combat has surprisingly become the highlight of the game for me.
My god I am having a super fun with this game. A masterpiece indeed reached Velen area I am glad the area is waaaaaay larger than the first one because I like to explore every tiny bits in everything in these kind of RPGs.
Ok now official the Baron character voice actor is Mark Addy also known as Robert Baratheon from GoT series haha funny thing that he has the same personality drunk, wasted and the same laugh.
I spent too long trying to brute force my way through fights. Now I'm focusing on movement a lot more I'm finding it so much easier. Only part recently has been a pain was killing the named fog goblin in valen because he just knocked through block + quen and felt like chain summoning 2 fog goblins but I managed to do it even tho he was red, just took a dozen goes. Enjoyed them all, bar when the actual game killed me via bugs.
Is there a way to make the controls more like Dark Souls 2? I'm using m+kb and the controls are really ruining my enjoyment of the game
I start the game thinking I'll play for an hour, end up playing for 4 hours straight. Am still level 4, still in the second zone, have seen only a couple of notice boards....the scale of available content is mind-boggling. I hope the game continues to hold my interest, right now I feel so damn immersed when I play, hope it continues.
Played a couple of hours now on PS4. So far it's amazing. It looks beautiful. Dem sunsets. Only one thing's pissing me off: the font size. Holy shit, were they expecting people to play this wearing binoculars? How could they possibly have thought that font size was reasonable? And that's with the standard UI size. Enable the smaller UI and the text becomes microscopic. I really hope they change it in a patch.
sex should give unique gwenth card as a tribute to witcher 1
I'm still getting freezes, is there anything specific that is causing it? I've been reading around and other people have the issue, but I'm not seeing how to fix it. They seem to be getting worse, at first the game would go unresponsive and I could close it with task manager. But it's starting to lock down my computer forcing me to hard shut down.
And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. And there was given unto them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
Also the frame rate on PS4 is pretty bad in places, easily in the low 20s, possibly worse. Not happy about that at all.
Speaking of gwent, how do you beat it? I'm in the second zone dueling random merchants and they are playing with tons better cards than me with stuff like heroes and special abilities :S
Can't exactly beat a 8 catapault when i have foot solider cards that do just +1 and if i use a weather effect they just use their kings special ability to clear the day >.<

Apparently you can bug large creatures in the forest. I was running around exploring and found a place of power by a bear who was a few levels over me. And somehow he got stuck in a tree which ensures I could just take him down using the Igni sign.
It's the internet. You never know if people are either sarcastic or just bad.
