Normally we don't bother with "What do you think" threads, because you already bought it.. Unless you can return parts, what does it matter what we think?

Personally, for the amount you spent on the system (At least $1100), I think it's a waste to not have gotten a 6600K and overclock it for like $30 more.

Agreed and in addition the 980 is a horrible buy. It's like 50% more expensive than a 970 and only about 15-20% more performance. Depending on needs, you should have either gotten a 970(for 1080p) or a 980ti(1440/4k) if you really needed an nVidia card today. Better yet though, the AMD cards actually have ASync Compute support at the hardware level for DX12 support which no current nVidia card has. If you are in a position where you must have a video card right now, AMD is the clear choice. However, if you had something you could have held on to and used for the next few months, both camps have the next gen coming out this year which will be a very significant improvement and, at least AMD, should fully support DX12.

Kinda late to do anything about it now though, since you already ordered it.

You really should have asked before you built. Asking after the fact is about as useful as me saying "I had McDonalds for lunch, was it good?"
