Specs - Elemental & Restoration

I remembered chatting with this lad, who meant it was a bad combo, using Elemental as main spec and restoration as off-spec, because of the stats.

But as far as I can tell, the stat priority is very similar to each other.

Anyone who can confirm it's a bad combo, or is it just him chatting drunk man talk?

Mastery and crit are the top 2 stats for both specs

yeah mast+crit is what you'll be using for both in most raid fights

haste+mast gets a lot better for resto in dungeons where you won't be going oom often and get a lot less benefit from crit (Because a lot of your dungeon healing is from tidal waves+healing surge)

haste and crit also get better for ele in situations where you use earthquake (it's a very noticeable dps gain on some raid bosses or to swap the 2 ele sets in dungeons)
