    The future of the Plaguelands.

With the cataclysm upcoming, and Arthas assumed dead, I wonder what the plaguelands would look like, once the druids take care of business.

Ill guess alot like it does now, just without the scourge.. :P

Even with a cataclysm and with no undead, i doubt its going to become a field of flowers.

Its hard for me to imagine what direction Blizzard will take most of the old zones. I'd wager, more of the same, with terrain changes caused by stuff such as earth quakes.
We are warriors, born from the light
An army for freedom, defenders of life
    Warriors, euphoria will rise
Returning from darkness we bury all lies

well if you sit around lights hope chaple you can watch the night elf and Tauren Druids of the Argent Dawn/ Scarlet Crusade, plant new flowers for the first time...a sign of things to come.

I hope they do make some great changes.. If they aren't giving us a new cont. we need all sorts of new looking landscapes.... hopefully.. on all three conts...

I hope I get a chance to go back to the good ol plaguelands too if they revamp it.
Stratholm was a nice instance and I'd hate for it to get changed to a lvl 85 instance where undead are replaced by wild animals and fire with flowers.

Best solution for me would be to have old Azeroth saved trough a CoT portal and New Azeroth being the new standard continent.
But I doubt Blizzard will do that.....

I wouldn't mind seeing the zone transformed (at least partially) into how it looks in the CoT instance, assuming that the druid's magic holds.

Could be fun if the Death Knights did something with the area. Maybe making it their kinda place and something.
R.I.P World of Warcraft 2004-2009 The Casuals whiners finally killed you, one wonders how casuals can overcome reallife, they must cry alot at work and out in the big world, when stuff is to hard and time consuming. Maybe god will helps casual scrubs handle real life? nobody knows.

It will be split up between The Forsken, The Blood Elves and the Ebon Blade.

I hope plaguelands are revitalized, and the cities are rebuilt and such, would be GREAT news.

I've also been thinking about it lately. I really will love epl/wpl to be finally cleansed. Maybe renamed: lordereon?

Maybe belongs to forsaken now and stratholme could be another city added to the game. Maybe after orgrimmar gone fall for the cataclysm, orcs will claim stratholme for their own(wild guess)?

And i'd love royal apocateries to contunie their studies in scholomance

This phasing thing really excites me^^ I hope they work on whole azeroth.

Re: The future of the Plaguelands.

I'd love for it to be revitalized. But my hope kinda died with the release of Death Knights. I don't think their starting zone is gonna get changed.

On the other hand, they could just change Western Plaguelands and perhaps rebuild Andorhal, while EPL proved itself to be too tainted to get cleansed anytime soon.

It will remain the same mostly. mindless scourge remain in both WPL/EPL after Arthas' demise

Re: The future of the Plaguelands.

Well I think where the EPL will go depends on where lore goes. If they kill off Arthas then I think they will be low enough to kill off the scourge. If they go the right way and make a plot twist and have him be redeemed, i think he will take charge of the Ebon blade, and turn it into an organization to help rebuild Lorderon. Maybe they will keep it and just make it so that The ebon blade and the remains of the scourge are fighting. Thus not haveing to remove the Argent Dawn.

Re: The future of the Plaguelands.

I'd like to see some changes in Azeroth. I mean, those druids have been working for quite some time now, we could at least see some of their progress. E.g. WPL, EPL, Felwood, etc...
