    Wish list:

    Terror Totem - fragile aoe 2 second fear totem on a 1 minute cd, like the witchdoctors in Zangarmarsh have.

    Rockfall - aoe damage, Blizzard, but with rocks!

    Elemental Change - works like demo lock metamorphosis but become an elemental for 30 secs, fire for ele, earth for enhance, wind or water for resto.

    Enhanced Grounding Totem - grounding totem now has three charges/absorbs three spells in a row but is on a 2 minute cd.

    Every time somebody asks for ideas of new spells, I have the same answer. Because most melee classes have a "charge-like" ability, I would like to see enhancement with one.

    Lightning Jump: (deep in the enhancement tree) Instant: The shaman literally becomes a bolt of electricity, jumping up to 20 yards and blasting the targeted opponent for x damage, finally reanimating at their targets feet. 20 second CD.

    Works similarly to charge in that it has a maximum and minimum range.

    Perhapse you could have a talent somewhere for Improved Lightning Jump, that hits other opponents in the area for damage similar to Chain Lightning.

    Static Shock 2/2 - When you cast an offensive nature damage ability, enemies within 10 yards of you are dealt 10% of your nature spell damage.

    (Zeus from Dota has this sort of thing, /love)

    Improved Lava Lash 3/3 - Your Lava Lash ability has a 100% change to refresh the duration of your Flame Shock debuff, and deals 150% offhand weapon damage to targets affected by your Flame Shock debuff. When striking targets affected with Flame Shock, your Lava Lash ability now splashes fire damage to 4 nearby targets equal to 20% of your Flame Shock's periodic effect.

    (20% is one tick of the dot, so whatever that is basically.)



    Feel free to change/add to/reduce these as seen fit, just rough ideas.

    static shock one is to weak, that´ll be like 200-250 aoe dmg, not that impressive

    lava lash looks pretty nice, but it should more here as well flame shock ticks for 600-700 in 25man as enh, if i remember correctly

    lavalash should refresh flame shock and we need some melee aoe like bladefury/whirldwind combined.

    Vanilla WoW was a diamond in the rough. Burning Crusade cleared the rough away and polished that diamond up. During Lich King, that diamond cracked from being over polished and in Cataclysm that diamond was replaced with a cubic zirconia.

    For enhancement aoe/cleave idea I'm thinking of the ability to overload you lightning shield similar to Metamorphis immolation aura. When under this effect you will also take damage when moving similar to the welding beams seen in HoL. This could be included in the static shock talent.

    i feel like wishlisting is rather futile because im sure blizz devs have their own ideas already and aren't really looking for any more... but its still fun, so...some thoughts:

    -be able to use ghost wolf travel form indoors like druids. if you have improved ghost wolf (waste of talent points right now if you ask me) it would help on fights where moving between targets quickly would be beneficial.

    -maybe be able to absorb the life energy of fallen enemies as some sort of HoT... like the cannibalize that the undead have, except in a less violent way.

    -or how about after a shaman falls in battle he is able to lend his spiritual energy to a party member that still carries on the fight. Say you die and there are no Battle Rez CDs up, no reincarnation, or maybe you're saving them for a more critical fight a little later on... no worries, the shaman can send his spiritual energy to invigorate a comrade, basically just providing some limited but worthwhile buffs to a selected party member for a certain amount of time. Since shaman's survivability had been suspect recently (maybe not any more) at least if we died we could still be useful. Of course this could have a CD on it also, maybe the same length as reincarnation and can be glyphed to shorter times? /shrug

    -how about givin' the shaman some sort of fade/feign death/shadowmeld type ability where they dematerialize into a spirit/ghost to drop threat.

    -mass resurrections? say it costs 100% base mana but you can rez multiple targets at once, like an AoE rez with a 30-40yard range. Could be a unique feature of shamans, and could save post-wipe recovery time. To keep it sort of fair for other classes you could put a 20-30 min CD on it, and maybe have the resurrected party members return to life with far less hp/mana than they would if they were single target rezzed.

    Idk, im just all about the shamans connection to the spiritual world. I'd like to see some more play on that sort of thing with any new abilities. I dont even necessarily need to see new combat abilities, i'll take anything that makes playing the game more interesting in general.

    Personally... Although it would be highly unlikely I would LOVE an attack as awesome as the one Thrall uses against Garrosh when they duked it out Pre-WotLK release. Was called Storms Fury or something along that line.

    Otherwise an Earthquake like attack, slowing the movement speed of people who are caught in it and dealing damage along with it. Channeled of course.

    Anything elemental related would be perfectly fine for me, I enjoy the feeling of swinging my weapons imbued with the power of the elements, while firing off lightning from my fingertips...
    Kinda like Avatar: The Last Airbender, only I use weapons in addition to controlling the elements.

    [Redesigned] Fire Elemental Totem - Now is a ranged DPS temporary pet. Will stay close to the caster. It shoots a Lava Eruption frequently (A lower level Lava Burst). Also hits the target with a flame shock, but that ability is on CD (not shared). Lasts 1.5 min.

    ^ Elemental ^

    [Redesigned] Earth Elemental Totem - Now is a melee DPS temporary pet. Will stay close to the Shaman. Attacks with melee abilities with an Earth Shock (on CD - not shared). Also hits frequently with Rock Burst (Imagine Stormstrike with rocks. Less powerful) Lasts 1.5 min.

    ^ Enhancement ^

    Water Elemental Totem - A water elemental comes to aid the shaman for 1.5 minutes. This pet will cast Lesser Healing Waves, Chain Heals, and Riptide (All lower levels). Will target lowest health in the party/raid. Follows the shaman. [I propose the Shammy's water elemental has a different, more cata based design. Possibly with armor?]

    ^ Restoration ^

    Earthquake - The shaman causes the earth to tremor in front of him/her. The tremors extend in a cone shape in front of them dealing 950-1200 damage. Also stuns the target.

    [Redesigned] Thunderstorm - A storm erupts over the target's head and causes a push back effect. Also applies a debuff to the target.
    Static Electricity - Has a 6% (up to 18% with talents?) chance to cause a static shock from the recent Thunderstorm. The shock deals 950-1200. If multiple shocks occur, the damage decreases by 10% on each subsequent shock.

    [Redesigned] Ghost Wolf - Transforms...yadda yadda (not sex - seinfeld C: )... The Ghost wolf has decreased threat and can run across/breathe underwater.

    [Redesigned] Improved Ghost Wolf - 2 Sec Cast (still). Causes the shaman to teleport to the Astrall Realm in the form of a ghost wolf. While in this form you can only see other invisible targets. Lasts 20 secs. Replaces the original Ghost Wolf spell.

    Shock Syngergy (New high end talent for Enchance)

    Your shocks when used in succession will cause various effects shocks will place a new debuff on the target that will do nothing until another shock is used

    Earth + Frost - causes a natural backlash healing the shaman for x
    Earth + Flame - Causes a molten explosion on the target dealing x dmg and applying a dot to nearby enemies that does x dmg over time
    Frost + Flame - Causes the target to start steaming giving them % chance to miss with spells + attacks for a short amount of time

    I don't know much about shamans as I have not levelled one to 80 but having some extra utility in pvp and some extra aoe for pvp seems fair though I don't know how often you guys switch between shocks for pve.

    Glyph of Eternal Spirit - You only summon one spirit wolf when using Feral spirit but it becomes permanent.

    It would take 90 seconds for the one wolf to equal the damage of two wolves for 45 seconds. After that, it will do more damage/healing then the two wolves could in the 45 seconds(not counting heroism). So longer the fight, more powerfull the wolf becomes over the normal feral spirit.

    A freaking AoE, where we don't have to run to the damn enemies becours Magmar-totem have that little range and CL have a 2 sec (give or take) CD!

    i wud like to see our fire elem totem gets some sort of a "fix" and ofc the earth one.


    i was thinking about this for a long time totems are cool yes but i thought that each spec should have its own spirit
    that gives a specific niche to each spec like one air spirit one fire one earth. they could be either a passive buff or some sort of a non combat companion. i think totems are fine and really cool but not as buffs you drop a totem and something cool happens very cool idea idd. but buffs, why not have a earth spirit that will give 155str/agi and leave eaerthbind stoneclaw tremor as totems , more function totems. and you can play with the idea alot more.

    i know this is so clsoe to warlocks but same kinda far away aswell since warlock pets dont only buff the warlock they are combat as well.

    so give tiny spirit wolfs one air = like current spirit wolf but alot smaller like worgen pet from brm
    one fire well just make it yellow/fireish gives buff to party raid/ like ToF and you know it will follow the shaman around the beast idea ever. the earth one just use your imagination.

    so this solves the problem about restomping replacing BUFFS that no other class needs to do, but still function totems like magma tremor etc they are still sticks in the gorund.


    hope i was clear enuff on my idea
