    Making a warrior.

I'm interested in some opinions on what spec/race to level a warrior. I'll be playing on the Alliance.

Human and fury, if you like to hit things with two giant weapons and not look rediculous

Because Human models don't look ridiculous? :>

OT: Whichever race you like the most. As to spec, you can level by going Prot and just doing dungeons. Or Fury for questing, tho I find Fury to be quite boring during the earlier levels.

Now if you go fury, do you just use one two hander until you acquire Titan's Grip or do you use two one handers?

Pretty much any spec is good for levelling as a warrior,
    prot/arms 1-85
or prot/arms until you get titans grip for fury

Pretty much just depends on how you wanna do it, and race wise either worgen or draenei 1% crit or hit

two one handers until titans grip

Fury is a dual wield class for all 85 levels, which means that if you level fury you'll need two 1h weps until you get TG (Or beyond, if you choose SMF)

Prot is also a solid questing spec. You can pull huge groups of enemies and AoE them down, hitting Victory rush every time you get a killing blow. I actually prefer to quest in tanking specs until I reach cataclysm content.

    Human or Worgen

I leveled my warrior as arms mainly, with prot offspec for dungeons. Tried out fury as well, even with titans grip, but I still think arms was more fun and quicker.

Definitely easier to level as Arms or Prot. Fury's greatest strength lies in overall quality of gear... the better your gear, the better your fury spec. With arms you can get a decent two-hander and be set for awhile. Prot, besides being near unkillable in the open, can easily queue for dungeons and power-level through them.

And I'm more of a horde person, but I like dwarves, worgen, and gnomes for warriors. Don't knock the gnomes, a pint sized warrior has to be badass to succeed. Humans have great racials, but until they get the new models they just make me want to maul myself... in the face.

If you are soloing and want to mostly quest, fury is the best option because it does good healing. However if you want to level as fast as possible, get some tanking heirlooms, spec prot, and do every dungeon quest. You will have to queue for specific dungeons to get all of them. You will never have to do quests outside of dungeons aside from one or two between queues.

Arms, or prot. Do not level as fury. Leveling as fury consists of miss miss parry miss miss, repeat. As said above, fury is totally dependant on gear, and good levels of hit rating, you have neither while leveling.

That's just wrong. Fury has no downtime, arms does. You should be favoring expertise and hit gear anyway.

Which is virtually non-existent until you're at much higher levels. How on earth does Fury have no downtime, but arms does? The only thing you're partially limited by for Arms is your Charge cooldown, which is lower for Arms than it is for Fury anyway. For Arms, it's Charge->Rend->Mortal Strike-> Overpower, and your enemy will most likely be dead. Arms will have a substantially less chance to miss, considering equipping a weapon in each hand more than doubles your chance to miss. Which is quite painful at low levels.

If it's a matter of healing, no Warrior should have downtime thanks to Victory Rush. Beyond that, Bloodthirst isn't really going to keep you alive when shit hits the fan.

Go whatever spec you want to level it doesn't matter victory rush will heal you just about what ever you encounter if you play it right. I recommend Gnome as a race. I've been human, worgen, orc and gnome on my warrior and I must say if you pvp having Escape Artist is just too good not to have.

Dwarf. No other race has beards that are worthy of being worn by a warrior.

And go Arms if you wanna solo quest.

I love male nighelf warriors, but that's just me. I'd level as fury but arms works well too if thats your thing

Pick whatever race you want, but for leveling I would do Prot/Arms. Arms is so much better than Fury for leveling. It has much more sustained damage, you get around a lot quicker, and has less downtime. Even after TG Arms is still better at leveling.

Try them both though, that's the fun (and the point) of leveling. I would go with Worgen or Dwarf for race since they look the coolest, but that's personal preference.
