Uganda, known as one of the forerunners of gay rights has decided to annul the laws it put into place in February which said that "aggravated homosexuality" and promoting the gay agenda (whatever they are) was worthy of life imprisonment. Whilst it's still illegal to be gay, apparently being a aggressive homosexual is no longer a problem.
They swear that this has nothing to do with donors cutting ties to the country over those laws being put in place and they're considering appealing this annulment. Despite all that they insist that this shows to the west just how democratic they are.

Well, it's better than nothing even though they are appealing against imprisoning gays for doing... I don't know what. Baby steps.
