IDK why they went on the whole "wolf" path with him.
I'd say a Lion or an Eagle though. Or perhaps, both.-Retribution, the path of the protector or mender brought to it's natural conclusion; destroying evil before the weak need to be shielded from it, and before it can wound the innocent.

I'd say a cat or a wolf/wolf hybrid. Cat because of the anatomical similarities to lions and wolf/wolf hybrid for the Lo'gosh motif.

A wolf, probably white, becuase Varian's life-changing experience with "Lo'gosh". Varian's attitude is also reminscent of one.
