    I miss being a noob

I miss my first day in WoW.
I miss getting lost in Red Cloud Mesa (couldn't find the damn well)
I miss thinking you did more damage if you kept right-clicking the mob.
I miss running around the plains of Mulgore for a whole day trying to find that bastard Arra'chea.
I miss dueling that rogue in Crossroads who vanished into thin air making me think he fled the duel so I started killing a few questmobs when he reappeared and started beating the crap out of me.
I miss getting my first gray leather shoulders for my warrior, thinking I was awesome with them.
I miss saving money for that awesome-looking white vendor axe.
I miss not knowing squat about Auction House or how to use it.
I miss going to Booty Bay at level 15 with the intention of going all the way to Silvermoon because I wanted to train swordskill. (at least I made it halfway through Duskwood until I gave up)
I miss charging about in Wailing Caverns as a dps warrior without a clue that I was acctually wiping the group.
I miss picking up mail items with intellect and spirit, just because they had higher armor value than my old armor pieces.
I miss that the game used to be an adventure, unexplored, always more to see, always stuff you didn't know.

What now? Now I'm a half-bored old half-elitist doing my dailies and roflstomping 1, 2 or maybe even 3 random heroics each day just so I can get my emblems. Here's one hoping Cataclysm will make me a noob again, opening a whole new world for me. An unexplored world. A world filled with stuff I don't know yet.

I miss running around auto-attacking things because I didn't know how to use abilities.
I miss getting killed by level 13 mobs because I was only auto-attacking.

This is so true. I no longer have fun in this game. My first toon took over six months to level to 70, when I started playing early in bc. I had so much fun. Not knowing things, exploring this huge world. But now what? I created an alt and within 3 days he was over level 40. And I dreaded leveling - it was just absolutely boring. I know, I know, I could level slower. But I just can't. I just can't enjoy it like my first toon.

maby time to start playing a new game, get to be a noob again

but yeah ... good times, when evrything was new and exciting

i dont even think cata will be new and exciting, so much stuff has been coming out in video´s and all around the place, Cata will be old when it finally shows its scorched face.

I remember I didn't know how to spec till lvl 51
*Killing a lvl 30 elite demon in desolace with a friend at lvl 24
*Running to Crossroads and being ganked by the Ally NPC's
    *Sold everything to a vendor
-*While selling I used the Merchant Buyback tab and reloged each time it got full.
*Getting lost in Undercity and calling it a Doughnut.
*When blood-hoof village was under attack I shouted in local defense "ALRIGHT WE KNOW! Stop the spam!" - suprisingly, It stopped.
*Seeing an enemy Tauren in stonetalon and i was like "WTF!???/"
*keeping weapons with +healing or +dmg to beasts just incase i needed it for higher levels.
*Using wrath till mana was gone then going into cat/bearfom to attack.
    * At lvl 25 I thought going through the barrens to Tanaris was a bad idea wiht a friend....
    Oooh noob days :P

The sad part is that when You start playing WOw and getting a little more eliete, you actually notice that each game has the same basics and it each game has classes that separate in to tank/dps/heal. That the end game is about gear, and gear is about caps, and caps are about maths, and that the world you so loved to explore is just a quest hub where you get max five different types of quests. I will never see MMO-s other way than this...

I miss suddenly finding myself lost in the middle of the badlands as a lvl 15 druid trying to get to SW..
Getting GY camped by a coyote until a pair of friendly lvl 40ies came around and saw my plight, then offering me guidance on how to actually get to SW after escorting me out of the zone.
And I really miss that first tram ride once I had finally made my way to IF..

I miss not knowing how fast you can level and not caring how slow it goes
I miss not knowing almost everything about the game and still needing to learn, try and explore everything.

Luckily, all this isn't that long passed for me, so I still remember most of this stuff and am not a total ignorant elitist who forgot how he started as a newbie too.
