Archaeology - Zin'Rokh Chance?

Hey ive gotten my archaeology profession all the way to 525 and was wondering what the chances were of the 2h sword actually appearing, there is about 10 guildies of mine trying to get it too but so far no one has any luck.

Its just RNG, I got it while I wasn't even attempting to get it and I know players that have tried getting it for ages now and haven't had any luck.
So theres not really a % on it as far as I know.

i think people are exaggerating the time it takes to complete tasks in cataclysm. The game hasn't even been out a month and you find people (not necessarily on this thread) complaining about how long it takes to do things. For the super rare items from Archeology, i REALLY REALLY wouldn't expect them all to come easy and right away. Expect to farm for it for a long time.

ofc there is a x% drop CHANCE, doesnt mean u get it after y attempts however..
heard 1% or <1% but not sure if it is accurate

That's false. I do not have Zin'rokh and have multiple crafts of same Troll items. It's just rarity.

It requires 450, and you simply have a low chance to find it. It has nothing to do with which other artifacts you've discovered.

Wrong, I've made each Troll artifact an average of 6 times (max 10, min 2) and still have yet to find it. Bad news is that I'm trying for the dwarven staff and I don't even want to go into how many of each Dwarven artifact I've made...

I'd say that by now the numbers that are collected on wowhead.com for example (should usually be the source with most contributions) are not enough to have a proper % estimation on the drop chance. But going with "very low" or "below 1%" should help not putting up your hopes too high.

I only had about 5 from Tol'vir before Ring of the Boy Emperor came up. I was already maxed out @ 525 as well.

I'm hearing a decent amount of people guessing its close to 1%, but as said its all RNG. I've read some people have used close to 2000 fragments now and nothing so... good luck!

I have completed roughly 50 troll commons without it. I am over 100 Nelf commons and all the rares without the trinket though. I've completed Green Dragon Ring 10 times now. Every time I see that ring I want to break something, but then I use my Wind Chimes and everything is okay.

Also, I want to point out that last night while I was solving my fragments I created "Lizard Foot Charm" 3 times in a row. That's right...so much for not repeating artifacts

I've completed 80ish troll artifacts and haven't gotten the sword, and I've completed 8 Tol'vir artifacts and got the BoA lvl 85 ring :P... complete luck of the draw it seems...
