    My new profession idea :)

Breeding!!! It'd be a secondary profession.

You make Vanity Pets and at the highest level you can make Mounts!!

I am sure BLIZZ could extrapolate on that idea!

I literally JUST thought of this lol, how cool would that be!

Would probably make the pet/mount achievments pretty easy.

And perhaps Hunters would get some kind of innate passive bonus or perhaps could Breed their own pets which would basically just be a cosmetic thing.

That could actually work quite well to be honest. It would give players more ways to collect pets and they could easily increase the achievements to 200 or whatever number seems reasonable. They could add achievements that give you "Breeding items" to add to a breed to make even more unique creatures.

Haven't gotten that far yet to be honest. Just thought of it and haven't really considered the ins and outs of it.

Obviously the low level stuff has to be fairly lame, maybe making pets that one can easily buy at a vendor and as you level up maybe you'll have to take a specialty of a Species. Or something. LOL, not sure yet

Sounds cool on paper, but who knows how it would feel in the game. :\ Thats the problem with a lot of ideas. Sounds absolutely great and amazing on paper, but when you get it in-game it just does a huge divebomb

at low levels you just learn about food and taking care of animals via creating pamphlets/wahtever. as you get better you get small things like scribes have with the paper oozeling etc.

with the "this piece grants 5 points" thing you can easily adjust it to compensate for pets, say a really hard to make pets gives you 10 points or whatever.

    I'm not sure what's worse.

The fact you made that joke.

Or the fact I understood it completely.

it'd be awesome if you could breed with your mount to make a half-human half-mount looking noncombat pet
