Pendulum is a group of very good friends who started playing WoW in Vanilla, and who know and trust each other a lot. We started playing together begin of TBC, and had a guild on Kul Tiras (EU) which also was called Pendulum. Back then, we managed (when ToC was released) to become Server #2 Guild, were aiming at being Server First, but unfortunately the unforeseen happened, and GM and an Officer abandoned the game. This slowly led the guild to perform less and less, till it unfortunately disbanded.

After 1 Year, the GM and most of the players are back for good, and together we decided to move to Kazzak EU due to its high population, where we started the new guild in the end of August 2011. We're pretty much still a new guild in terms of guild lifetime, but old in terms of people playing into it

Since then, we have successfully managed to progress through Firelands where we cleared 6/7 HC (7/7 normal) in 25man, and 1/8 Dragonsoul Heroic (8/8 Normal) (still 25men)

We're now in the process of consolidating the guild. What this means is that we're trying to get a few more dedicated players in order to finalize our already existing core group.
The "problem" that we have ATM (if you want to call it that way, and which is common with many guilds) is that our 25men raiding team consists, most of the times, of the 18/19 core players who are committed and know their class inside out, and then we have 6/7 players who don't exactly match our idea of a "Raider" (whether for attendance issues, class knowledge/skills or attitude). So, if you intend to join the guild, be assured that you will NOT be recruited as a backup: you will get your raid spot RIGHT AWAY, and if you're committed and skillful for real, you will keep it for good - if not, we'll try someone else. Just as simple as that.

We are an adult guild in that the majority of players are adults covering a vast range of ages, professions and real life responsibilities. And thus the commentary within the guild varies from serious debates to completely off-color highly controversial topics. While indulging in our nightly raid or just shooting the proverbial “shit”, an open mind and quick wit will often be your greatest tools. Expect to be criticized, joked about and expect to fire back. We at Pendulum sometimes like our hardcore humor as much if not more as we like our semi-hardcore raiding. Average age of players is 28/30, with peaks of players being 40+ years old.

The GM and the officers have broad experience in PvE raiding.

The guild is a "casual" guild in terms of raiding days, but "hardcore" in terms of gameplay. We raid 3 days per week, therefore we require players that can fully attend and focus during these days, and that will not underestimate the fact that 3 days are more than enough to clear a lot of content. People who have more time than the official 3 raiding days do have a priority ofc, since we also organize plenty of 10men ALTs as well.

Despite being a friendly guild, we will not tolerate slackers, people who are not respectful towards each other, kids, loot winers, drama-o-holics and what-else - we can be as friendly to everyone and even very very "mean" when required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for talented, mature players with high attendance availability and willing to face challanges, who have more or less our same experience, to join our community to continue the progress in Firelands, but majorly to be ready for Dragon Soul and the future expansion. We pretend a minimum of gear to at least be iLVL 370+, although we will evaluate everyone interested on a case by case basis, even with lower gear. If you really think you can help the guild but you're missing a few bits of gear to up to the level, we will still evaluate you. We're looking for people that love this game, because we want to form up a steady group of passionates that will carry on and get a "shining" guild running when the next expansion comes.

If you're looking for progress, perhaps we don't have as much progress as other guilds (YET), but we prefer working our butts off to reach results rather than being babysitted through the content by an already established guild which has everything on farming. We prefer the moment of happiness and nerdrage after downing a boss we've been working on for a long time, over the loot we might be able to get by joining any other guild that's got 7/7 HC progress to give you an example. If you are also looking for a challange, then we're the right guild for you

This is not a 3-5 months guild that has potentials to disband at anytime. We're here for good. And we're looking for polite and mature players, yet professionals who know their class inside out (yes, you theorycrafters out there - astonish us!)

But any other DPS Class or Healing class will be HIGHLY considered.

Again, even if your class/spec is not listed above, we still highly encourage you to apply if you are looking for a new home. The above is what we strongly desire, but we can also manage with other classes as long as the player is the one we're looking for

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

We can offer you a guild that will RESPECT you, that will help you when you need and we pretend that you do the same for us. We will not discriminate you because of whatever reason.
We will offer you an enjoyable raiding environment with people from all over EU, videos of the guild during raids and "World of Logs" stats for every raid.

You will be part of a team, and as such, you will be threated and respected as a fellow team member. We pretend you to extend your respect the same way we will extend to you, else you won't have much future here.

We will offer you a REAL LIFE!! Our goal is to raid MAXIMUM 3 days per week, and achieve what's achievable during these 3 days. No pressure AT ALL after these 3 official days (although the 3 days are mandatory). We are aware that current content can be cleared in 2 days if not less, and we can use the third day to progress somewhere, and as soon as new WoW content will come, we still deem 3 days raiding enough to have good and professional fun.

HOW THE GUILD WORKS:

- Raiding days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday,
- Our raiding times are from 20:00 through 00:00 Server Time
- We use Mumble (MAC users friendly)
