I dunno how can you 'not like' dungeons. I mean, they are not a spectacular part of a RPG game, but they are good fun.

Borderlands is also worth giving a go if you haven't played it already. If you can find a friend to play it too, then it's enjoyment increases accordingly. I would rate it as the current top co-op game on the market and I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel.
Uncharted 3 is also worth buying.
Have you tried the Mass Effect series? The third instalment will be out soon and the first and second are really awesome. If you're thinking "man, i'm not really into sci-fi stuff" well, don't worry 'cuz I wasn't either yet I'm in love with the series . Been playing the demo and can barely wait for the real thing to come out!
Fallout 1 and 2.
Baldur's gate series but start from the second one and if you find that interesting, go play the first one with mods.
Arcanum but seriously, you must have patience. If you are "fallout 3 was awesome" crowd, stay away from arcanum, it will kill you by it's complexity.
Not rpgs but close:
The first Deus Ex, stay away from "invisible wars".
Bioshock 1/2.
From bethesda, the only game that came even near to being "good" was Morrowind.
Seriously, if you want a true RPG, play fallout 1/2 and for an easier experience, play Baldur's gate2: shadows of amn and it's expansion. Start from baldur's then move to fallout. If you truly play those game and not go "omg, the graphics are so bad", you will discover a whole different world.
Mmmm, RPG without dungeons...
I think I played some of such RPGs, can't recall their names, as they were total failures.
If to take light description of dungeon as less or more complex and dangerous indoor area, can "little to no dungeons" be looked upon as "feature" in RPG and not as definite flaw?
I'd advice you to play Phantasy Star II or, if can't handle graphics of former, Might and Magic VI to see what proper dungeon should look like. These games clearly show that dungeon aspect in most modern games already eroded to oblivion. But if even dungeon aspect in same Skyrim is too much for you, maybe you are not looking for RPG genre at all?
These games have dungeons. As I recall, BG II even starts from a dungeon.Baldur's gate series but start from the second one and if you find that interesting, go play the first one with mods.

Umhm. Baldur's Gate is a horrid suggestion. It not only has plenty of dungeons, it is set in... wait for it... wait... the DUNGEONS & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe.
That said, in terms of SP-RPG, there exist none finer than Baldur's Gate 2.
Exemplary of Bioware are the absolute height of their creative powers. They never again reached that level of craftsmanship. And no others have as well.
What is it about dungeons that you don't like?
They're sort of a staple for RPGs...
^ The above should be taken with two grains of salt and a fistful of "chill the F* out".
Wasn't Planescape: Torment made by Bioware as well?
Anyway, that and Baldur's Gate 2 are my favorite rpgs ever. If you count Deus Ex as an rpg then it would be in that class as well.
While I agree that the Uncharted series is amazing, Borderlands is THE most boring FPS I think I've ever played. And I think I've played the vast majority of them. Also, they have forms of dungeons.
I'd check out that new one, Kingdom of Amalur. I've not played it yet, but it doesn't seem to run the same types of dugeon-crawling as Skyrim, and it claims to be an open-ended RPG.
Yea, PS:T had a deeper story for sure. I don't feel the gameplay was up to snuff in PS:T. As games are about gameplay first, second and last- the superior game is Baldur's Gate 2 in this regard. Which also happened to have a very engrossing, epic and emotional story.
That being said, PS:T had the better story. That ending... I still get choked up.
Buy Deus Ex on steam its on sale and SOOOO WORTH IT. I bought it two days ago and have put in over 20 hours.
Conversation parts are unlike any other game. The system is great.
Multiple ways to go about missions. Depending on your Aug choice.
Inventory is meaningful and ammo is sparse.
Challenge level is fun on the middle ground difficulty. And nail biter on hard.
Story is great and feels very rewarding. It has side missions but is pretty continuous. I never got the feel of dungeons.
either way its an opinion. in my opinion you are wrong and its a great game, just dont act like its a fact..
i wont comment on the OPs topic because i havent played to many "dungeonless" RPGs but deus exs reviews are very strong.
after about 2 hours of the mass effect demo i was pretty dissapointed:/

It's pretty fun to just kill everything you see and listen to JC talk like Judge Dredd. It's also really fun to play "Grey Fox" style, where you cannot quicksave, cannot kill ANYONE (and I mean ANYONE), and cannot set off alarms. I've never actually finished playing through that way so I don't know if the Grey Fox moniker is fan-based or if the game actually awards it.
