    A good program to record sound with?

    I'm looking for a superb program to record audio in (from the mic), since Fraps sucks at it, and my editing program seems lackluster and unprofessional for that. I have tried Audacity, and I might suck at it, but I can't seem to start the recording without being on the program page.

    As a side note, I'm also looking for a new mic, thinking about the Blue Yeti, but any other suggestions?

    adobe soundbooth works great for me and its able to remove noises

    Nevermind, just found out that they dropped Adobe Soundbooth FOR Audition.
