Huuuumm.....goes to check wiki......
Yes ur right sorry. He's done this episode. David Benioff & D. B. Weiss wrote last weeks and next weeks. They did most of season one.
Alan Taylor did the climax of season 1, and is again doing this one. So bound to be good!

edit #2.
Fantastic episode; finished it...immediately watched it through again. Incredibly atmospheric in terms of direction, camera and music. Top rate acting too ofc.
Just brilliant. It's so refreshing to see a tv programme actually done well.

DAT HALF-MAN SPEECH!
Those are brave men knocking on our doors. Let's go kill them!
Also, that battle was anti-climactic. 'Oh, fuck me.' nevermind..
And am I the only one who thought the queen would poison her own son before realizing the battle was won?
The sellsword kicked some ass this episode. I didn't like him for a while, but I'm starting to come around.
Oh, I just realized I have a question. Who was the guy who took off his helmet when Tywin Lannister's forces walked into the throne room? I feel like I should recognize him, but can't put my finger on it. I mean, when they rode in he was focused on.. when they barged in he was the only one who removed his helmet.. Tyrion saw him kicking ass before fainting.. he had what looked like the stag antlers on his helmet.. he must have been important. Why can I not remember.
Edit: OH, IT WAS LORAS. DUH. /facepalm

I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.
If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.
more bashiok!
best CM everI think if you believe we're just here to lie to you then it seems like quite a waste of your time, and I'd question if you are of sound ability to schedule your time and attention in the most appropriate ways.
She was about to poison her own son, certainly. She'd broken off the top of the bottle and was just about to give him some. Evil wench.
I've always liked the sellsword. He's brash, coarse and honest. As in you can always trust him to do the right thing for money. Some of these ppl in the show deceive you for all manner of reasons, at least he's honest about himself and what he does.
Also...the hound shone in this episode. The emotional trauma of his face being half melted really came through well.
Lastly...Tyrion for president
