Hey all,
I'm suffering from what seems like a very annoying, embarrassing, and unsightly problem - I sweat in the face. A lot. For example, I was at a work function today that had no air conditioning (it's like 90 degrees and humid in there). Most of the people might have had a little sweat on their face or something, but I literally had to excuse myself from the event to go in the bathroom and stop the sweat from dripping all over my dress shirt and down my face for about 20 minutes.
Now, I'm a bigger guy - though I haven't always been overweight. Even when I was thinner I dealt with the exact same problem to the exact same extent as now. Whenever I go out to the club I can't even enjoy myself because of constant sweat. Same goes for pretty much any event where it's above 70 degrees. I even managed to sweat through a shirt while in an air conditioned museum for a networking event.
I want to say that it doesn't affect my self-confidence, but it does quite severely. It seems like a vicious cycle of sweating --> worrying that people will notice how much I sweat --> sweating more --> etc. It really seems to severely impact my quality of life, and I'm wondering if any of you know anything I can do about it?
Like, I would honestly give up a lot to have just one night where I could go out to a bar, go out dancing, and hang out at a party or gathering with friends without sweating. I've been like this my entire life. I'm beginning to think I need to move somewhere where it never gets above 65 degrees at any point in the year..
