    Question [WeakAuras] Wild Mushroom - overhealing stored

    Hello everyone

    I've been using a custom WA(got it off some other website, no idea how it works exactly) to track the overhealing stored on my Wild Mushrooms, but in 5.4 the mushrooms got changed so that we have 1 instead of 3. However, I haven been unable to modify it to work with the Wild Mushroom in it's current iteration.

    I have no idea where to start with the current custom triggers. So my question is:
    Would someone perhaps be able to edit the triggers in such a way that it does display the total overhealing stored(or a new trigger)?

    http://pastebin.com/rcyVHbTx

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hey Shifts,

    Very simple fix and will work!

    1. Open Weakauras.
    2. Go to the the shroom aura you linked in your post and click it.
    3. Tab -> Trigger
    4. Under "custom trigger" -> Expand Text Editor
    5. Scroll down and find this part:

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*.25
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*0.33 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *0.33
    end

    6. Change the values so it looks like this:

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*1
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*2 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *2
    end

    (Don't copy it just change the numbers from 0.25 to 1 etc. etc. Also you just have to change the "mush1" not the "mush2" or "mush3" )

    7. And you're done!

    Goodluck!

    Addition: If you move the shroom it will turn back to "0" but that's a more tricky fix. Guess it will have to do for now

    Thanks for the small update!
    I can't walk away until I've seen it through, for the good or worse.

    Nice leg work there. I think a helpful first post on here just made 10 internet trolls drop dead around the world btw. Can't wait to try this thread and changes out.

    Thank you so much, Pyrius It works like a charm now.. all I ended up doing was breaking it.

    There's still some stuff in for mush2 and 3 but I should be able to just delete that, no?
    Ah well, I'll keep tinkering with it(break it a few times) to try to clean up the leftovers from the other two mushrooms.

    Hey Shifts,

    I cleared out the other mushrooms(mush2 and 3) as well so you can safely do so, but it's purely aesthetic

    Everyone else thanks for the positive replies!

    Hey everyone,

    I got it working, after some logical assessment it was a pretty simple fix after all!
    My apologies for the big blob of text in this post but I am not allowed to post links yet so no pastebin link. In any case here is the string to the weakaura:

    Made some comments in the code for those who want to know what stuff does and/or what I changed. Credit for this weakaura goes to
    the original creator, I just edited it so it works in 5.4.

    Important:
    Remove your old mushroom weakaura or it will not work properly, also heavy latency or a slow pc may of course alter the accuracy a bit I don't have either so can't test that.

    Oh that's awesome, you got it to keep the current value of the stored healing! Thank you.
    Also, I did some searching to find out where I got this WA from originally and it was from a post on Falling Leaves and Wings and the creator is Stenhaldi. Credit where credit is due, right

    //Shifts

    PS.
    There seem to be spaces in the WA string you posted. However, I got it to work though after pasting it in Notepad and using Find&Replace to get the spaces out.

    ---edit---
    For ease-of-access, I added the string you posted to my pastebin. Also, since the value seems to exceed the size of the progress bar, I took the liberty of duplicating it and converting it into an Icon instead, displaying the value underneath.
    Both versions can be found here:

    Mushroom Healing Stored(icon)

    Hey very well done Shifts!

    Didn't notice the spaces! so thanks for putting the effort in ^^

    About the text exceeding the bar, I disabled the icon so there was more space. Elvui has a shroom window build in to show the remaining time so didn't need the icon.

    So for anyone who wants the process bar but doesn't want the numbers exceeding the bar:

    1. /wa
    2. Select the shroom weakaura
    3. Tab -> Display
    4. Uncheck the icon option

    i thought the bar was filling up way too quick, and realized it was because the custom duration trigger wasn't fixed yet:
    Code:
    function ()
        if  WA_mush1 then
            WA_mush_val = WA_mush1_val
            WA_mush_max = UnitHealthMax("player")*2
        else
            WA_mush_val = 0
            WA_mush_max = 0
        end

        return math.max(0.01,WA_mush_val),math.max(0.01,WA_mush_max),true
    end

    now, my question... i had been using a mushroom tracking aura package i found on the wow forums (since i can't directly link yet, wow/en/forum/topic/8088209593#10), and i liked it because it showed the shroom icon while filling up, and nixed that icon for a bouncing icon of shroom-bloom when the shroom was full. how would i alter (and most likely split up) the icon aura in this thread to reenact the two auras i was using?

  11. #11
    I've tweaked it a bit more so the duration bar is now 2 times the player health, and so it fills up properly.

    Awesome Rikapi!
    I have updated the pastebins for both versions(bar&icon) with the new duration info.

    Regarding the Icon filling up, I suppose it could work with a progress texture that fills up as the shroom fills up. But I'm not entirely sure. You see, I never use progress textures

    --edit--

    Included StevieTV's updates as well. Thanks a lot
    The pastes should now be completely up-to-date and functional.

    Thanks a lot guys ,, using this now,, and seems to be working a treat

    I was trying to use this but the code in the pastebin appears to be 5.3 mushrooms. What code should I be using?

    These ones Zeons, not the one linked in the first post.

    Both versions can be found here:

    Very simple fix and will work!

    1. Open Weakauras.
    2. Go to the the shroom aura you linked in your post and click it.
    3. Tab -> Trigger
    4. Under "custom trigger" -> Expand Text Editor
    5. Scroll down and find this part:

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*.25
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*0.33 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *0.33
    end

    6. Change the values so it looks like this:

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*1
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*2 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *2

    Hey mate nice work there but there is a little problem in it

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*1
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*2 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *2
    end

    i dont know most you noticed it or not but if u put "2" at WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *2 after reaching ur max health it will instantly jump 100% of ur HP the solution is 1.99 on both if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player")*2 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") *2 and it will fix the issue there is mill be minor number change in weak aura but it will give u almost accurate Charging numbers

    I don't understand what you're saying here. Are you implying that it should be

    if WA_mush1 then
    WA_mush1_val = WA_mush1_val + overheal*1
    if WA_mush1_val > UnitHealthMax("player") *1.99 then
    WA_mush1_val = UnitHealthMax("player") * 1.99
    end

    As far as I understand the wild mushrooms, they store up to 200% of a druids max health in bonus healing. When running with the aura as it currently is I don't find any inaccuracies in the numbers, and mine runs up to around 1250k during raids

    I can confirm that your corrections work perfectly on my resto druid. I did not find any problems at max mushroom healing. Thanks for the wonderful Weakaura!

    are these still working? I tried both of them and it shows when I have a mushroom down but never counts up the overhealing.

    Any ideas?

    No idea why the WeakAuras are not working properly for you.
    I have actually imported them myself just now, from the pastebin links and they work exactly as they should with correct values for the overhealing stored.

    Are you using WeakAuras2 perhaps? I myself am using just the normal WeakAuras and the Auras wered written in this version as well. This may be one explanation as to why you are getting weird behavior
