Hey guys, I need to improve my dps...I feel that my dps isn't is good enough to my gear :/
Is my problem the lack of trinkets, wrong usage of FF, delay KC too much or what? I really can't figure what happen :'(

I know that the rankings on warcraft logs is relative to what strat my raid uses, but I can't but feel that something is missing. I have the WA for FF but I feel like I'm loosing dps when using it when it tells says to use it. I don't know how much the 2 piece BW kills it when I pop it all the time. Does my steady focus need to be in the >80%? I'm open for advice and guidance. Let me know if you run across anything that stands out through the logs and armory.

I really just think I suck at being a hunter! I don't have but 1 tier piece so that is some of it and I also think I am getting to excited in a fight and focus starving myself!

Please oh please help, this is one of those cases where you could really take a turd and turn it into a diamond!!! I'm begging for your help!

it looks like you might have some focus management problems? your cobra shot seems a bit on the high, and your multishot on the low.

It also depends what mechanics you are doing on maidens.

Personally, i would go SV with only 2 set, better sustained dmg imo

Gear and tier bonuses are a pretty big barrier for you. I would focus on getting those and practicing your rotation while ignoring percentiles.

I would maybe give SV a shot @ 2 pc, and switch to BM @ 4 pc

Gear? 686 is pretty geared I thought tier only added like 10% or so. Or gear as in a new primary weapon? Since I'm sporting a 670? Just trying to understand what I should focus on as I really want to improve!

iLvL is a useless basis. I don't play MM but, when i was SV and BM, going from no tier bonuses to 4 pc, was probably an 8k dps boost.

MM is also heavily reliant on your weapon. I would give SV a shot honestly.

When you are looking the sim rankings on simcraft, those are generated with itemized gear.

I would suggest try running your char through some sims as SV and compare to MM

10% is *HUGE* and can cause a massive swing in percentiles. Ilvl is important but only to a point, you need the right stats and supporting gear as well. MM is much more reliant than any other spec in terms of weapon, so you'll probably see a big improvement going to SV even without any tier gear (SV tier bonuses are the weakest, and it's the strongest spec when you ignore tier pieces). SV is also the easiest spec to play of the three (at least, IMO). Make sure to get as much multistrike as you can if you switch to SV.

Expectations: Beat Spazfury. Spazfury has been my benchmark in raids and has consistently beaten me and I've been trying to figure out what exactly am I doing wrong that she is doing right. I've frequently been higher ilvl than her yet can only match her dps. Currently our gear is somewhat similar, but with an ilvl gap. Our specs are the same, and I'm at my wits end. What am I missing, is it something obvious? Is it something fundamental with my play style?

Could you by any chance reupload the log to Warcraftlogs instead of World of Logs? I am much more familiar with WCL and it is just that bit more advanced as well.

These are the casts links using the pin from Azor's guide. Damage is usually quite close, but what's concerning is that the other hunter Aonghus doesn't use keybinds, at all so he says. On the vast majority of fights the difference seems to be that he is out-casting me across the course of a fight so I'm generally after any hints/tips/help I can get on bringing my own performance up as it feels a tad embarrassing that I use a fullset of keybinds but still somehow get attacks off slower.

That's pretty unbelievable. But yeah you're very close. The only consistent difference is that Aonghus seems to be a little bit quicker on the draw with kill shot. You hit your 2nd agility potion on the Gruul kill a lot earlier than Aonghus so he was doing kill shots under them at 66k a pop. You must have aligned it with BW or something earlier and your KS averaged 56k. But the margin is razor thin really.

i didn't go too in depth into logs, because they looked pretty good, but he got an extra dire beast and 2 kill shots off. with BM and gruul, its all RNG with petrify and bw

Well from the looks of the log, you ARE beating Spazfury. Both of your DPS simmed is within 1k of each other, a bad run with BW resets can be the difference.

Doesn't feel that way, unfortunately IP doesn't normally use Warcraft Logs. http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/combat...llane/spazfury You can see in past runs she's beaten a lot of people, sometimes by a significant margins. This past Tuesday we had a 6ilvl difference and I feel thats a big enough gear gap that I should be doing more/ Damage per hit I see everywhere is for the most part I hit harder. I mean she's running mixed NBRF/HBRF Tier pieces while I'm pure heroic pieces. I would normally think there should be a larger damage gap, RNG or not.

Is there anything you can see in my overall play style or numbers that point out any bad habits or something that needs polishing?
