How do I get in contact with the German Vehicle Registration office as a foreigner?

    Hey all,

I was recently gifted a car from my brother, but I have no registration papers for it. He bought it in Germany a couple of years back, but the salesman didn't have the papers on him at the time (stupid, I know), and promised my brother that he would send them. Problem is, he never did.

I can't drive the car unless I have the papers, so I can re-register it here in Denmark.

I have tried to search online and written a few mails, but to no avail. I also don't speak German.
So, what do I do? Anyone from Germany who can help?

Thank you so much in advance!

I don't, but me and my brother did suspect it after he never picked up the phone or returned our calls, and didn't send any papers. But I guess I will find out soon. I hope

Thanks for the link mate, I think that's it!!!!
