Trump wasn't even in power, "covering inaguration event" is in the freaking headline...
You've been living in police state for years at this point.
...and, just so that you know, Kremlin propaganda isn't necessarily "There is gap between us and West, and West is worse!!!" (though they run with it when they can), most of the time it's "Look at West, they have exactly the same excesses as we do!"

They thank people for investigating their sons murder.
-> DNC Crisis Consultant steps in and speaks for them. Strangely what he claims the family says sounds pretty convenient for the DNC.
-> Liberal shyster Morons chime in and use this in addition to emotional language to attack anyone who thinks something's foul here.
Brave new world is no longer fiction it seems.
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"
2023: "What's with all these massively successful games with ugly (realistic) women? How could this have happened?!"
You're saying it like it's true in Russia; and, surprise, it isn't true there either.
There is no "automatically" here; but occasionally people do get detained both in US and Russia. Including journalists. Probably higher absolute number of incidents in US given higher population and current "protest climate".
The video of thanks is from the GoFundMe and they're thanking people for donating money. If this were any other occassion the conservatives would be crying that the parents are lazy poor people capitalizing on their son's death. It's exactly what they spouting about the Treyvon Martin and Brown GoFundMe's. But of course The_Donald is trying to spin the video as them thanking people for investigating the murder, and you willingly believe it.

I'm amazed FOX is still called "news".
You can try to fit me in a box, only to see me burst out of it.
Well, none of the sources you gave belong to my country's mainstream media so I'm gonna dismiss it as propaganda and conspiracy theories.
That's how it feels to be Russian on Western forums.
But the point goes waaaaaay over your head yet again. We, Russians, are not stupid. We know that media is an instrument of government. You, westerners, however, believe for some reaspn that you're an exclusion for this universal rule and that you live in a magical land with no corruption, no nepotism and no cut&kickback, where everyone is free and honest.
Because you believe a media that is under a firm oligarch mandate to report negatively on things in Russia to the liking of Western government rather than, you know, what is actually going on.

Weren't you the one to keep saying that only your media is truly free and unbiased, not inder anyone's control? Or did I misunderstand the last ten pages of your preaching?

That's to put it simple. And it's BBC. Ultimate truth source.
Feel free to quote me saying anything even approaching something like that. I'm sure you read into it whatever you wanted, though, because you aren't interested in actual communication here.
No, no. Our media's got bias. That's normal these days. I would love a truly unbiased media, but it ain't happening. Where you get things wrong, though, is thinking that there's some massive conspiracy forcing all forms of media to toe the line. Fox is the closest example of this being true, but I get the feeling they're improving lately, what with their base dying off and Ailes and Hannity gone. Could be wrong, though. Regardless, they came up with the most stupid shit against Obama during his presidency ("terrorist fist jab" springs to mind), and at no point did he start arresting them, much less start killing them like your leaders have historically done.
Yes, the media has its hacks and shills, no matter what team they're batting for. Yes, they jump the gun or take things too far sometimes. They are, in fact, human, and the terrible 24 hour news cycle we have now means there's less time for consideration before chasing a story. That's not the same as saying they're completely untrustworthy, though. You just have to keep your eyes open and not be a gullible tool.
We're not perfect over here, as far as free speech and the media goes. We're just much, much better than Russia. We don't like Putin not because we're told to, but because he does some awful fucking things.
