Legendary drops, blizz has done it again!

You get one legendary minimum per week now... so you'll get them eventually

That's.. not how it works.

After ToS opens you can upgrade one to 970 about every ~week, you don't have a guaranteed legendary every week.

They never stated they won't drop from old emissary caches, not this time, not the last time. And it's hardly surprising as the item id of the containers did not change on the PTR to live, just as last time.
They only said the added legendaries will not proc from nethershard items.

I got 3 within 7 days, and already had 2 for my MS on that toon before that happened. RNG is RNG.

"playing the game" could mean many different things to many different people. If all I do is pet battle day in and day out, I am not going to get a legendary every week. So he's correct in saying that's not how it works, because it truly doesn't work like that.

Also yeah if you play this game a fuckton you can realistically get around a legendary per reset, if you play casually you get one every two weeks or so.

No, you don't.
You can if you're really lucky but it's been 5 weeks since I got my last one and thats doing all mythic and HC bosses every week and quite a few mythic+ every week as well.
RNG is RNG and it's still a bad system.

Blizzard never said that. They said nethershard tokens couldn't give the new legendaries.

Relinquished tokens wouldn't drop the new legendaries. Everything else is fair game.
