I was thinking... If anyone on these forums knew how to make a server in Minecraft and was willing to maintain it with some hired admins, we could get an official MMO-champion Minecraft Server if approved by Boubuille(?), would be pretty interesting.

I don't forsee Curse/MMO officially sponsoring it. I would just aim to organize an inner-community group.

Actually, there's been one up for a while.
Connect to dinnerbone.com in Minecraft. We also have a lifesize mmoc logo on the server.

The new server is semi-public, but not really ready for public use yet while we wait for Notch to fix a few bugs.
We'll post an IP once we're ready.
