Yeah, that's kind of a cheap move. Cartoon Network airs the Star Wars parodies already, if people didn't buy the DvD they still have a chance to watch it. Calling it a "season finale" is a pretty crappy move.

knowing fox they prob. waited just before it aired and yanked it off and replaced it due to some form of content within that episode.
same thing they did with the abortion episode which was later released as a unreleased episode . so wait and see what the FG camp has to say on the matter but i soley blame fox for this one.

Good point. I didn't think about that. I don't have cable anymore though, so does anyone remember seeing any previews for it? If so, then you're probably right.

The show isn't very funny anyway

Actually on youtube, they had been doing clips of the Star Wars episode as "Previews for the season finale" meaning it was planned.

i do remember they had a hurricane cross over episode planned a few weeks back but fox yanked it due to the tornadoes in the south east killing a bunch of folks. i only went with the obvious conclusion , and strayed from actual research on the matter

and the show not being funny to some is irrelevant to it still being funny to me.

This is the description from tv.com for the season finale of Family Guy that was supposed to air.

Season 9, Episode 19: Seahorse Seashell Party
A storm hits the towns of Stoolbend, Quahog and Langley Falls. To help pass the time and calm his nerves, Brian consumes some questionable substances and has trouble sobering up. Meanwhile, Meg goes off the deep end after the family takes one too many jabs at her.
Sounds to me like it could of been a pretty good episode

Isn't American Dad set in Langley Falls? Anyway, yeah, that sounds a bit familiar, Brian going on a "trip".

Yup American Dad is indeed set in Langley Falls, looks like it may of brought the 3 families together. (The Cleveland Show, Family Guy, and American Dad.)

Looks like it may have been yanked due to drug use? that looks like a good episode though, meg going crazy is always fun.

Doubt it. Other drug-related episodes have aired, particularly the one where Brian gets weed legalized.

The thing is, Seth has pretty much given up on Family Guy, especially if you read the moving text at the start of Star Wars episode and the awful jokes and the dragging on of the staring bit.

meh the episode before it was a pretty good one any ways, so to me it doesnt matter

I don't see how the star wars episode represents how Seth feels about family guy as it was released in 2010. He has made plenty of great episodes since then.

Episode 18 was so bad i can't believe it. I mean the show was great but it has really turned in to a bad show. Hell even The Simpsons are funnier then family guy right now.
