    [Bio] Shujaa

    Name: Shujaa
    Age: 23
    Race: Troll (Gurubashi)
    Gender: Female
    Languages: Zandali, Orcish, Common
    Class: Rogue
Loyalty: Whoever offers the most money.

    Personality:
Shujaa has always been a very cheerful and happy troll on the outside. She does not get upset easily or allow other people’s comments about her provoke her. She has a relaxed attitude in general when she isn’t on a mission. In contrast to her silent and sneaky approach when at work, she is quite loud and outspoken otherwise. When Shujaa arrives anywhere you are sure to notice, unless she does not want you to. But do not make the mistake of assuming she is without any worries or depth. She rarely speaks of her past. Shujaa tries her best to not think of it or let it affect her, and she is quite successful at it as well. She is very curious by nature and loves to discover new things.

    Likes:
Shujaa loves the simple pleasures in life. She loves male attention and company, and often brings small delicacies on her journeys. She finds it very hard to pass down a good drink, and is often dragged out of the tavern as it’s closing. She enjoys a good joke and conversation, and loves gambling. Shujaa has also grown to like the Forsaken very much. She also appreciates and tries to cherish all life around her. She never takes a life unless there is a good reason to do so (money is considered to be one – the more the better).

Dislikes: Shujaa loathes those who speak ill of the forsaken. Despite Shujaa’s free spirit, she has no respect for those who do not honor their work, and has refused to work alongside those who she felt took the mission at hand too lightly.

    Appearance:
    Picture.
Shujaa is pale skinned with golden braids pulled back, away from her face. She is about average height and quite thin. Her weapons of choice are two daggers with a green tint, to match the rest of her armor, which has been dyed green. She is left handed.

    Strengths/Weaknesses:
Shujaa is, to many people’s surprise, very skilled as an assassin. She has a gift for stalking her victims, to dispose them quickly and without a sound. Shujaa’s most obvious weakness is her love for fun and pleasure. Some may argue she has a drinking problem, or is too easily charmed by men.

    History:

    A secret affair

Shujaa was born into the Gurubashi tribe, deep within the Stranglethorn jungle. The first years of her childhood were idyllic and normal. She was always quick and agile as little. Many of the other children had trouble keeping up with her as she dodged, ran and hid when they were playing together. She was energetic, smiling and talkative to everyone she met.
Shujaa was 15 years old when she fell in love. His name was Nyama, and he was 18. He never promised her anything spectacular, fact was he never spoke much. But they still enjoyed each other’s company to no end. It was a primitive type of love, which only was expressed through their flesh and bodies. They seized every opportunity they could get to be together, keeping their affair a secret from the rest of the tribe. Shujaa was considered too young for this type of relationship, but she had no intention of ending it.

    A new life

As time went on, Nyama and Shujaa continued their relationship. When Shujaa was 16 years old she began to feel very different. She was nauseous and tired, and she lost her appetite. As the weeks passed, the truth dawned on her. She was pregnant, with Nyama’s child. Shujaa was overwhelmed when she noticed her belly growing. When she felt her child’s first kick, she was completely and utterly in love. She fully embraced parenthood and was confident she would be a fine parent despite her age. When Shujaa belly was getting noticeably large the tribe started talking, and her parents were not pleased. Shujaa told everyone that dared ask that she was indeed guilty of a love affair with another secret young troll of their tribe, and she refused to talk anymore about it. They could not do anything about it. Shujaa was going to be a mother, and her relationship with Nyama was still a secret.

Shujaa gave birth to a lovely daughter on a cool summer night. She was beautiful, complete, she was perfect. She had light yellow hair (and quite a lot of it) and big, brown eyes. Shujaa named her Muujiza. Many trolls within the tribe were very upset, in fact some were outraged. There was a child within their tribe, raising another child without a father. They foresaw a grim destiny for Muujiza, and wanted to prevent it by any means they could.

    The cruelty of the Gurubashi

Shujaa had two weeks with her daughter, and it was the best weeks of her life. On the third week, she woke up to see Muujiza’s cradle bathed in dark stains. When she approached her daughter, she was completely covered in blood. She had already gone cold. The feelings that went through Shujaa’s mind and soul were unimaginable. She could not even scream. She simply stared down at her child for several minutes, not being able to move. The rest of that day is nothing but a foggy memory to Shujaa. They buried what was left of Muujiza, and then gave Shujaa something to help her sleep. She spent the next 3 days in bed, sleeping and crying, too sedated to do anything else. When she finally woke up, she was filled with rage. She knew the truth, she was aware of what the other trolls thought. She would make sure it was known by everyone. Fueled by her taste for revenge, she stood up in front of her entire tribe, pointing out the ones who she knew had spoken ill of her and Muujiza.
It did not go as expected. Not only did the murderers claim Shujaa to have gone mad, they claimed she was the ones who had murdered and eaten her child. They demanded that Shujaa was exiled from the tribe. Sure enough, the tribe sided with the other trolls and only allowed Shujaa to hug her parents goodbye before forcing her out of her own tribe. Before she left, her father slid her a pair of daggers in secrecy, nodding at her. She knew what it meant. She was on her own in the jungle.

    Learning to survive

Shujaa had never been alone before up until this day. She was scared in the jungle, and spent most of her time in hiding. She got hungry quickly. She was afraid of trying strange fruits and berries, and only kept her diet to the fruits she knew to be safe. As Shujaa discovered quite quickly, she could not last on them. She did not get enough nutrition, and she was starting to feel sick. She had her daggers, but she had no idea how to catch any prey. She kept to her hiding spots, emaciated and weak.
After a few weeks Shujaa began observing the jungle and the animals there. She watched the raptors and their way of hunting, and she watched the gorillas. Once Shujaa paid attention to the feline creatures, she came to a realization. The cats, their hunting technique and their grace and effectiveness, she could do that. She continued to observe them while staying alive on the poor quality fruits. She admired their dance and their ability to move silently through the shadows. It was beautiful. Shujaa took note of everything they did, transforming into a tiger herself in her mind. She began moving like them, silently and gracefully. The first prey Shujaa caught was a gorilla straying from her pack. She was not very quick and did not even have to notice the troll before she had slit the gorilla’s throat. The gorilla was delicious, and it was only the start of Shujaa’s new life.

    A new alliance

Shujaa spent many years in the jungle, so many she lost track of time. She was a extremely skilled hunter by the end of it, able to stalk any prey there was in the jungle. She had mastered her daggers, and moved like a shadow in close combat with the other cats in the jungle. One day when Shujaa was 21 years old, she encountered two other trolls. She had heard them before they had gotten close and she was hiding inside a bush when they arrived, watching them. Shujaa pondered the opportunities at hand. She had never been much of a cannibal, but the idea of it amused her now. She decided she could sneak up and make quick work of one of the trolls, and then defeat the other with her speed and brains. They were surely no match for her.
When Shujaa was just about to wrap her left dagger around the neck of the first troll, they noticed her. She tried to escape, but to her own shock they managed to pin her down. Shujaa was convinced they would kill her when they brought her to their own camp. There were not only trolls there, but many other creatures she had never seen before. It was then that Shujaa discovered the Horde.

To Shujaa’s reluctance, she realized the Horde was her ticket back to civilization. She did enjoy the jungle, but she was convinced by the Darkspears that she had the chance of getting a new life with them. Shujaa allied with the Horde eventually, and travelled north. She never spent much time in a Horde settlement, but kept moving around Eastern Kingdom. She found plenty of work, especially with the goblins. Her expertise was very sought after wherever she went, and she easily made a living for herself. She continued to work all over the world, including Kalimdor, moving around wherever the money was.

    New Friendships

This thread documents this entire chapter in every detail.
One night, who at first seemed no different than any other, would come to change Shujaa's entire life once again. She met a tiny scourge contruct named Thorn. Thorn was drifting through life just like her, and she was alone. It did not take long for Shujaa to grow attached to Thorn, a very persistent attachment that could almost seem unhealthy to others. Shujaa and Thorn ended up spending over a day together, in Booty Bay and the jungle, but Thorn eventually had to leave. It tore Shujaa apart, she was devastated. But it did not take long until Thorn was hurt on her travels and called for Shujaa's aid. Shujaa managed to save the undead, and ever since that day they have always stayed with each other, like kindred spirits.

Shujaa did not only find an invaluable friend during this night, she also found love. She also met Ulay, who was a ex-Gurubashi troll thirsty for revenge. He was alongside Shujaa and Thorn almost the entire journey together, but the differences between Ulay and Shujaa separated them several times. Despite everything, Shujaa still couldn't help but fall in love with Ulay. In the end they decided they could not be together at that point in their lives, but they both promised to not forget about each other and reunite if their lives would allow them to do so later on.

Shujaa is now travelling the world together with Thorn. They are trying to solve the mystery of the undead's life and existence while they both work together on every mission they can get their hands on.
